Well Manon, I think the problem people have is not whether the fan survey is inaccurate because it's not representative, the problem people have is that it is inconsistent within that very small sample...

Personally I think the fan survey system is just useless. I have seen nobody who could predict accurately movements in the gates income based on fan survey categories/total.

Most people did figure it out. There are only 2 things that bear a susbtantial effect on game income:

Major impact:
- How the last league game went (if you lose you have 1 or .5 balls anyway) and how the previous season went (up to the ASG: promoted teams get a 5 there)

Significant impact
- How the current one is going (this can be easily gauged by your positioning in the standings, rather than the fan survey)

Medium to low impact
- How the last TV game and last rival game went

Virtually no impact:
- Everything else (including the dreaded "I know the stars players" and " the manager is improving the team")
