I'm not going to argue misogyny with you when that hasn't been my intent. I never indicated anyone spoke out of turn. The forums have rules for all users(gender neutral). The game could consist of puppies and leprechauns for all I care. The names and genders have no effect on the experience for most users.

And I could be a blue, transgendered, Iranian, female immigrant for all you know. No need to name call or attack which destroys any constructive points you make.

I have 1757 players for sale and I'm $25,835,360 in debt. Buy them at outrageous prices, or be selfish and make me go bankrupt. You decide, BB.

Hi, everybody.

I will freely admit that when I'm more active, I'm one of the worst violators of this, but let's try to think a little bit before we post, and tone it way down on the personal attacks. I speak for myself on this more than the staff, but I am sure we'd all agree: respectful discussions and disagreements are exactly what we are looking for. If you don't like someone's opinion, please feel free to disagree and explain why. Please do not base your disagreement about the person's individual characteristics, though - it cheapens your argument and rarely leads to something good.

On this topic, I'd personally love to see more diversity in the staff, and I'd be happy to see female players in the game as well. If we stuck to the grail of realism, we'd probably have to make women who are good enough to play at the top levels extremely rare (the Lisa Leslie/Cheryl Miller types, for example), but as I am fond of saying, realism is always a secondary concern to the game itself, so if the next great 5/5 draftee was female, that would be great. (Of course, a draftee with a 5/5 player is one I won't ever have the first pick on, unfortunately).

Likewise, because I know this is a game and that changes require resources, I can understand that in terms of importance, this may be very low on the list of things to be made, if it even appears on it at all. I think it's far less egregious in terms of sexism in games than, say, the typical outfit and body proportions on females in a distressingly large percentage of mainstream games. It would be nice to see acknowledgement that the world of professional basketball does have a place for women as well as men in game.

So anyway, let's try to keep a little more calm here going forward. Thanks!

I really don't see any female discrimination here. It's just happens to be a male sport simulation, I guess BBs could add some female staff, but there is no need.

Especially since what we're talking about is imaginary women being slighted.

Well,
I'm female, what's maybe not importent to point out.
But the point i wanted to make is...
I not even realized that there is just man in the staff.
For me, I'm more connected to the staff & players. Not much, but i know their names and such.

What my point is. I don't mind how it is atm.
But if they would put females in the staff i wouldn't mind either.

Why would you fight over this with each other?
It would give a bit of variation. What is not bad. But probably not needed.
But this is a thread for change suggestions, so why not? It's not a bad change.
