What JPBren said! Best record gets taken into account of non-championship teams when filling up the division above after bots are cleaned up.

Okay, so, basically if the league above this one had, say, six bots, then the champion, you, me, Goliath Groupers and Houston Razorbacks would probably get bumped up right?

It's about the entire division so it'd take into account the number of empty bot spots across all D.III leagues and the top records of all D.IV teams to determine which teams move up.
