That is true. Well, I guess the telling card will be first week of next season. Then we will see if people are at least training.
Also, if I knew they will CT I would have just played normal :/
But I guess we will have to hope for the best in the semis. It is truly all or nothing now since most likely we will be against States (I dont see them taking 2nd on purpose because things in that group might be decided by PD and its too much risk) and only finalists get automatic bid to World Cup.

I am really reluctant to do it that early but here is the thing:
If we take 3rd in our group, we go straight to consolation tournament, have a chance to get into knockout stage and fight for HCA for next Americas championship.
If we lose in semis, then lose the qualification to World Cup, then we start consolation tournament with 0-2 record and would have to run the table in order to advance to knockout stage.
I think its way too early to speculate like that and would rather take a shot at US in the semis rather than start purposely tanking (would be hard to lose 2-3 games in this group) but would like to see what others think

Btw, we are winning the group (most likely) so will be facing (most likely) USA in the semis. Going to be a tough fight. Winner makes it to the worlds

Ok! We are playing the USA.
Going to create game thread tommorow.
Want to do it early because its the biggest game of a season, and lots of people should have opportunity to give their opinions.

We need perfect GS! If you have NT player, and dont have some hof prospects that absolutely cant miss a single training, please train game shape

both teams played BO and no GDP today. Their ratings were quite a bit better. Hopefully its because our GS sucks. We could really use Worley this game and much better GS update

Canada and most other nations appear to be at an all time low as far as interest goes.

Well, we did our best. Led through 3, but refs took over. Laurent fouled out in just 23 minutes of playing time. In penalty with 9 minutes to go, as I write USA is taking a lead after another barage of free throws. 2 minutes left, they are up by 8. Game is over. Fouls in 4th are 9-3,
Ft in a game: 33-16

Going to consolation tournament with 0-2 record wont be a good thing.

Dont know why since there is almost noone left who gives a shit, but I am updating the depth chart.
So far one thing is obvious: we are not training players that are above 25 years old (I am starting from oldest and thats the age I got to so far). Thats just not gonna cut it. From 26-30, a player is easily capable of getting 10-15 pops. Thats a difference between semi-decent and elite status.
The players that are 26 or older and are being trained are either already on NT (Jolly, Hudgins, Sammons), or will be on NT (Mosley).

By working with some NT managers I noticed that other nations still see 28yo as a 'prospect' and it is rare that a player 30 or younger gets to NT. Why? Because they are still being trained at that age.

Depth chart updated. Not sure if I will be able to do draft scouting before reset update. Buried under assignments. Will do my best.
