so we should just queue up and let teams promote in an order. seems a bit silly.

who is to say that in the next 4 seasons we dont get div 2 demotees who dominate. whereas this season we got a bot. there are windows and this season may be the only one for a while. if we can get the chance we have to go for it.

Thanks Yoda, high praise coming from you, and it is great to know we are traveling down the right path!

I think ranga is well ahead of me at this stage, considering we just started to go back to basics this season. Hopefully i can maintain 5th place, not have to fight a relegation battle and have a crap load of $$ and options at the end of the season :D

damn straight I will attest to the fact that when you get an open shot, go for it. I should have promoted maybe 2 seasons earlier than I did. It only got tougher every season I was stuck amongst the pack.

You guys gotta put everything into winning this season.

Skyhook, I think you and the Rangas are probably doing the best of any teams in this league


I'm not sure what Skyhook's finances are like, but i'm still a season or so from being able to do anything overly productive.
my training is going OK and i'm getting good results for the team i have. I'm honestly expecting to be "competing for 6th" in the next couple seasons.

But as Skyhook already said, thanks for the high praise yoda. :)


in other news, big game coming up for me against bains.
my arena expansion has just completed so i'm hoping the plebs are the team to help me get almost 12k people turn out to see a real fight. I would expect bains to be an almost unbackable favorite in this contest, but i'm hoping my boys can step up and play a solid game at home.

I cant see you competing for 6th unless you have a change of direction.. Big salaries dont necessarily mean wins, so if you keep doing what ur doing you will be competitive..

Financially, i am making a killing compared to what i was making last year.. Hopefully by end of next season we will be competing for 3rd-4th!

Not all luck, not even mostly luck, sorry if I sounded rude, mostly I think you have done so well through being smarter than your opponents including me. Great tactics, best use of enthusiasm in the league and excellent game shape as well as just enough good players has been the formula for success. The luck has been winning all the 50-50 games that came down to the wire. But you got yourself to that situation by great managing. It looks like everyone respects the job you have done including me. :)

Beasts Red have taken the lead and that is probably how it will stay. "The manager is doing all he can to improve the team." I am, I even sold off my second oldest player which was a pity, but I have a good bank balance now and am looking for players again. You can expect several more changes from the Hippos before we have a lineup we think can beat the Beasts, Blaze, Plebs, Rangas etc.

So a few blow outs but, the big surprise was Rangas vs. Bains... Did Bains TIE or Ranga CT, either a poor strategy or a smart strategy respectively..
