alright, just your serious & aggressive looking avatar makes everything you write seem serious & aggressive to me. don't gore me then foreclose on my home bro.

there was a great 3pt shooting PF in my old DII league. Think the guy shot like 42% one season! He had somewhere between SF & SG shooting skills. With a 7'5" guy... yeah it would be glacial speed training wise. His best shot at hitting 3s would be training JS instead probably.

i still don't get how the new C i signed is ranked #21 in Rating (World) with his salary/skills. he has 1 skill i *really* like. but many of the rest are meh to alarmingly bad. (his 2nd highest skill is only marvelous (15)). should be able to unload him eventually due to his age at least. to be honest... i'm super tempted to see how he'd fit in with my team playing purely center. maybe i'll turn completely heel & do an extended test after all!

Gotta get my OCD stats fix and breaking news from somewhere.

try the LPGA!

Why not? I mean, otherwise it'd be too small of a sample size and all that stuff.

Hmm, maybe finding a good center trainee with a rare 7 starting JR is enough. And then he'd eventually wind up with 9 or so? I feel like most bigs top out at 4 or 5 OD. It's not often you see one with even just 6. Just judging from my time in D4 and D3 with outside offenses. I think I had 9 or 10 JR on my guards, facing against other guards with decent OD, and I was hitting >30% of them.

the guy was only about 6'9" or 6'10". so the JR was more doable probably. I don't see why you couldn't hit 15 JS & 10 JR. As the JS should be a lot easier/quicker to train. i once had a 6'2" center that put up to a 11-12.5 ratings & he had a couple 10s in center skills. plus PG type handling. he could have really been something, if i focused training around him.

hmm, okay. i guess i'll roll with him til the end of the season.
and if he's being counted as their NT future or something... i'll unload him in the off-season if there's a buyer.

I think 6'10 is the perfect height for this type of thing. According to the training calculators, 6'10 is the cutoff for decent pops in big man skills. 6'9 supposedly has a noticeable drop off. I've trained a 6'7 guy in big man skills, and it's definitely slow. 6'2 must have taken ages to get those 10's.

But I imagine 15 JS and 10 JR would make him an utter beast at PF or C for 3's.

Final 8 of the Cup is nearing. We're looking at one lucky bastard getting the lone D2 team remaining in the Cup. This is the first season in USA BB history with such an unfortunate chance at Cup draws for the Final 8.

Hey, maybe a D.II team can pull an upset... also, I'm picking Coco. Sorry Shikago but your social-security-check bribes won't be swinging this one!

The only real candidate for that is Kiwi Sheep Pimps over Boom. Boom has HCA, but likely worse enthusiasm. Kiwi tanked a league game to throw everything at Boom. That said, Kiwi looks like a mediocre to weak D2 team from the few box scores I checked.

i'm down 12-2 early, so it's looking like you're right. edit: it's a route. 2 time outs already for me not even 6 min in!
edit 2... oh man, it's crazy foul game on top of it! 19 to 1 in FT attempts.

the 6'2" guy had had probably all 8s when i got him, so it wasn't that bad. he was just the final guy getting training. (for inside or outside training.)
