I agree on the mentoring. I have been thinking we could do something like that based on Wombat Fed. Not just for members but offer a mentor to any local managers keen on help. Regardless of if they are supporter or not. This sort of thing is a community at large issue which will benefit the NT sides but should not be something the managers of those sides should add to things they need to worry about.

agreed. Ive received alot of positive "mentoring" from this fed, namely mickyster and Kilrtom (Bainsy was also a huge help in my first few seasons via BBmails). This type of help is invaluable, as it allows all members the chance to read and add any advice as you go. The skills and knowledge ive picked up here have changed the way i play this game.

Im all for it, and hope to pay it forward to the newer managers wanting help.

Yeah, good points, B-train. I guess by 'experts' I meant that we could have two or three extremely experienced managers who managers could always go to if they couldn't ge the info they needed (providing said managers had volunteered themselves of course). Resident Experts if you like. But, yeah, agree with the mentoring your suggesting. I don't want it to become complicated or confusing and while the model I used as an example suggests a large staff, it is the initial setup that is time-consuming. After that it's just a simple maintenance thing...

Will coaches from other countries who have players in the Australian Under 21s or in contention to making that team, be allowed to enter such a Federation whether it be off or on site?

A great question and you have no doubt---like myself---considered the ramifications of allowing non-Australian managers access to such information. Given that they would be privy to tactical information it would seem irresponsible to give them access. This of course then means that they will be limited in their communications. My thinking: they should not be given access. I remember when I was helping out as U21 mentor, only aussie managers would respond to bbmails anyway despite repeated requests to respond and at least provide basics. No, I think it would be too risky for a non-Aussie manager to gain access to tactical info that could be used to help his/her country beat ours. :-)

all well and good but what happens when these extremely experience managers dont reply to bbmails and seem unapproachable?

all good mate. I spent a fair while updating all the 20yr old guard skills for you in the offsite forum, hoping it might save some time :)

Lots of managers asking for advice. I separated myself from that role and made it clear i wasnt the best person to ask, but commented on a few, as a personal opinion only.

I would like to retire and just train prospects.

Not interested in Buzzerbeater anymore, but with so much history built up in my 4 years with this game, I don't want to just throw it all away.
