My First Re-Cap---WEEK 16
Investors v Bangerz: Investors always seem to be on the losing side of this long and painful rivalry. Tonight looked like more of the same after the 1st quarter. Turned out to be a tight battle that went to a surprising OT. Both star SF fouled out at the end of relegation. Problem is, Gail Carmona was still in the game and worked his magic scoring 39 and shooting over 50% from the field. Investors bigs actually had better stats then the Bangerz. If the Investor bigs can step up, they could be a threat. Let's not get ahead of ourselves either. Investors are about 2-20 vs the Bangerz.
Red Terrors v Tachenko: Once a team that struck fear in opponents, Tachenko is a team that has struggled this season. A team that has been so good is bound to put the pieces back together. The Red Terrors took advantage of a Tachenko team having internal issues. Fact is, both these teams shot poor percentages, rebound about the same, and the Terrors had 12 turnovers. Basically, the team that wasn't as bad won this one.
Crazy's v Magic: You got to feel for the Crazy's. There's not much to root for in Cleveland these days other then the upstart Crazy's squad. Always feared by this commentator, the Crazy's took care of business tonight. Easy win TIE against a Magic team that has some big wins this season. Looking at the Crazy's they may be the beat well balanced squad in the league. German and Zabal are consistent and the bigs do what they need to do down low.
Flyers v Crusaders: Flyers are a good team, Crusaders dressed 5 players. The Flyers could have dressed there cheerleaders and won this one.
Dutchman v Champaign: This was one that may have been decided on coaching tactics. Dutch had the right read going 3-2 vs Motion. Champaign went 2-3 vs Motion. Champaign also had a bump up in intensity. Dutchmen played hard and continued upon there improved season. Is Hutson for real. He's not Carmona or Barr but he seems to be holding his own. Hutson Player Breakdown: All around great player and scorer. Good long range shooter who will pass when needed. Does not rebound well or play hard on defense. Could be more physical. Regardless, Dutchmen with a big big win on the road.
Goats v Illusion: Holy Holy Defense! 82-74? The crowd was waiting 2-3 minutes in-between points being scored. Did Illusion cruch? Or did the Goats TIE? The difference in this game was rebounding and blocks by the Goats. Have the Goats planted the seed?
No Potential, Roxas, Gavno, Armagedons: I can't justify spending times on these games when one team does not play a full roster.
Player of the Day: Had to give it to my boy on my cherry recap. I'm not a homer someone else will get it Tuesday.
