Bangerz vs Blasters: Bangerz started off slow but came on strong with some great inside play. The extra enthusiasm by the Bangerz looks like the difference in two closely matched squads. The Bangerz had 79 rebounds and shot almost 50% from the field, a great combination for winning. Beavers is a perennial MVP candidate and is almost impossible to shut down on either side of the court. The Blasters strong backcourt play was not enough to hold up.

Magic vs Flyers: This is becoming a rivalry! Both teams great squads with serious low post players. The Flyers look a little bit better balanced and should compete for a high play-off seeding. Another contest that home court was a big factor. The Flyers also benefited from higher effort. Was it a crunch by the Flyers or a TIE by the Magic? Good Teams… Good Game…

No Potential vs Goats: Another game with enthusiasm being played by a squad. Crunch or TIE. The big story in this game was Vernon Partridge. Not the typical Partridge family play we are used to seeing. Seems like the Goats may have given this one away. Although, is this the season No Potential puts together it’s run? NP has a real nice balanced attack that played well as a team.

Crazies vs Red Terror: These are two teams with some separation of skills. The Crazies are a power that should be in contention this season with real nice players top to bottom. The terrors look better but are still building. Barry had a monster night for the Crazies and is one of the better SF in the league. Can the Crazies make there mark this season? That may be the only team in Cleveland that still has a pulse.

Dutchmen vs Champaign: Dutch have a nice developing squad. Champaign is an above average Div 3 squad. Pyatetsky may be the hardest working center in the league. He was 4-5 from 3 point range and 9-11 from the field.

Investors vs Oznap: PCI looking good after playing it’s second easy game of the season. Oznap better have big bucks to spend or it is going to be a long season and a quick cup of coffee in DIV 3.

Tachenko vs VD’s: What a tight game….. Problem was VD did not start playing until the 2nd quarter. Tachenko also played with more energy. Both teams look primed for solid seasons. VD also threw out a small roster. We are unfamiliar with his squad but we will see how he plays it over the next few weeks.

Royal Challengers vs Swanson: No review needed. Challengers win by 50.

VD’s vs Magic: Both teams got the tactics the way they wanted them. Even with extra enthusiasm the Magic could not even win 1 quarter at home. VD’s are for real. VD’s benefited from a very balanced attack and deep bench. The Magic is a great squad that will do some serious damage. Benson had a great night leading VD’s at the point.

Bangerz vs Goats: A long time rivalry has been renewed for season 14. The Goats are just tough to beat working the inside game on offence. Looks like the Goats may have added the extra crunch to create some separation and secure a home victory. The Goats look better balanced this season which will cause team fits because you just can’t do much inside with Partridge and Candia dominating the boards.

Swanson vs Blasters: Not much to say. No contest at this point between two squads at totally different places. Blasters had there way.

Crazies vs Tachenko: Another big rivalry continues. The Crazies look solid with German and Barry looking like all-star caliber backcourt stars. Tachenko seems to have lost there way from two season ago when they were a conference power. The rebuilding is going well but work needs to be done.

Challengers vs Oznap: Not much to look at here. Oznap better send some money or get ready for a quick return to DIV 4.

Dutchman vs Flyers: This was the surprise of the night. Dutch dominated a real good Flyers squad on the road. This may be the game Dutch looks back on as a franchise victory. Dutch backcourt dominated and they look legit. Dutch has officially joined the watch list!

Champaign vs Red Terrors: The Red Terrors gave a good effort and jumped out to a quick lead. Eason looks impressive running the offence. Champaign is a solid squad that will compete for a high playoff seed. Champaign looks like won of the better balanced squads in the league.

Investors vs No Potential: Investors thought this would be a game since the lost two starters the previous week to injuries. However, Investors are always tough at home and really put on the hurt.
