Yes because its not like I'm focusing completely on the cup or anything, and hey its not like im training certain players at certain positions, where in real games they have no right belonging.

Oh, I wonder if it too could be that said team wants to stay another season in IV due to not being prepared for III.

I really like how you get all defensive after me stating my perspective on the game, no where did I say "I'm gonna win my league every season and go undefeated!!! I'm the best team and manager on BB!!!!"

No, I'm saying how I play the game, and how I like the game, I like competition, if you don't like competition, then you like a different style of game than me.

By all means keep this "circle of friends attacking" on posters that don't typically post in the USA forums, I really do like the ego for someone that cannot get out of III, hows mediocrity going for you?

How does this sound/look?
In season 15, Little Rock Rimrockers made the playoffs in league USA III.3
In season 14, Little Rock Rimrockers made the playoffs in league USA III.3
In season 13, Little Rock Rimrockers made the playoffs in league USA III.3

Or how did being demoted from III go? I just think its quite funny that you act like I'm someone thats been around from season 1 and use generalizations on me, but I guess this happens to most players after they've been around awhile and then treat others they feel are 'outsiders' 'noobs' 'clueless people'

By all means I wish your team the best of luck, and I hope that someday you get over this attitude/ego you currently have, good luck.

And what are you basing this off of? That my team isnt undefeated in IV? I realize I'm not going to be able to have fantastic league & cup results, so I decided to focus on the cup, but I guess some people are too lazy to even look at my games.

Also, please keep the "hes got a plan" type jokes/attacks up, please keep thinking I'm a V team that has this secret plan about how hes going to train this player up, win this league one season, eventually win the next league and boom be in NBBA, no get over it.

I realize the seed I'll end up in and do the strategy that will best work out for me, I knew getting the 4th seed would be the best result for my team, and thats where I'll end up at the end of the season(feel free to bump this up, I can 100 percent guarantee the spot I end up will be #4, its where I thought would be the best for me at the beginning of the season).

To more so clearly state my opinion on the topic I'd rather put it as this: If you're not trying to advance through your league and win games when you need to/its beneficial towards you, then you're not playing the game right in the way I view it.

Look Prizzle, I am sorry if i offended you. But I took this statement quoted above you made seriously, and it didn't match up with your record. If you were serious about competing, you wouldn't be focusing on the cup. It seems a bit hypocritical to believe U21 trainers are playing incorrectly when you are favoring the cup and not your league games.

Anyhow I wish you the best in your quest to the NBBA

No you misread me completely, I realize 4th spot is the best for me and where I'll easily be, its where I'll be whether I'm completely focused on league or not.

The cup has an indirect effect, I'm focusing on cup right now so I'll have a better chance down the stretch due to the increased revenue I will have received. Someone that is JUST an U21 trainer and does not even try to win their league games is someone that is playing the game wrong to me, and thats always how I'll feel.

I wish you the best of luck in your quest to the NBAA.

I find it very funny that you are calling me defensive. It's quite comical actually considering you cant manage a cup run and to win more than 3 games in your first 11 in division 4...yet you would love to comment about the fact that I've gone to the playoffs the last three years in D3. Mediocrity? Maybe in D3, but at least I'm not in D4.

Let's take a look at my record in D4. I was there for 2 seasons and lost 2 regular season games. 2. That's it. 2 games. You have lost 4 times that amount in your last 11 games in D4. Interesting, no?

Was I overmatched when I went to D3? I sure was and I was in arguably the toughest league in D3 that season, but to prove to you that I have zero ego I will admit there were only a handful of D3 leagues I probably would have stayed up in. I did get to the final 128 in the cup as a consolation to a tough year AND was able to make far more money than you will staying in D4 and "not being ready" for D3.

If you think this is a "circle of friends attack" on you, then you are completely wrong. It is a group of BB'ers that I am not that familiar with (save HC) that are disagreeing with how strongly you state your opinion. Yet you call others defensive when you have come across as the arrogant prick with an OPINION you preach as BB gospel when you haven't played this game long enough for your testacles to drop. I have no problem with people stating the way they want to play the game, but don't get your panties in a wad when people offer up other opinions or disagree with yours.

As for how I treat "outsiders", "noobs", and "clueless people" I guess you know me far too well as I have acted like an authority on this game for so long. Just ask this "circle of friends" you speak of and they will tell you...well they won't even be able to tell you my real name outside of a handful of BB'ers. I have never and will never be that guy, but I obviously have a pulse on the different reasons people play BB unlike yourself as you clearly stated that your way is the only way...so maybe you should watch how you treat people and mince your words a bit???

All I know is that the above post could have been the most unnecessary pile of rubbish that I have read on the forum in a few weeks. I guess you won something! Congrats!

If you're not planning/hoping to get into NBBA then you're playing the game wrong.

Hmmm I believe this is the statement to start it all, correct? And you call me the arrogant one, when you are the guy telling people they are playing the game wrong. Not just saying this is how YOU want to play...but saying that they are playing the game flat out wrong. How do all of your posts add up together??? It's one big hypocritical mess...

Ummmm don't know how this became personal, cuz I'm too lazy to read, but lets go ahead and cut it out. I dont want to have to send anyone to Div IX.4305872034 ;)

All I'll say is that there are different ways to play the game, myself personally I would rather see the US NT win a Worlds championship then myself win a NBBA or Cup Title. Even after my term is up, this will remain my goal.

As far as D5 players who will make NBBA someday, idk about other NBBA teams, but I have none of my original team from D5. You do so much retooling along the way that I think its rare for a player to be with you form D5 to NBBA. I could see a player being with you from D3 or maybe even D4 to NBBA, but from D5 to NBBA? I suppose if you had started out with a player that was good enough. If a player is trained well enough, eventually his salary becomes cost inefficient.

If I ever get to the NBBA, I hope to still have Aindow, Whitfield, de Quay, and Ludwinek...they were all with me in DV.

Funny, it seems to me that you are the one being defensive here. Have you even been in III? You are really going to bash on the Rimrockers with your team? The only person with serious attitude and ego here is you. As is typical with new guys you have a lot to say and dont hear a word. Chill out and learn before you start blathering.

They say you can catch more flies with honey than with vinegar. Some other people realize you can catch flies with a steaming pile of poo. The truly legendary catch them with chopsticks.

It seems our new friend is attempting the pile method.
