One dimensional? He's a freaking center. To me this just demonstrates an absolutely terrible oversight in the game engine. Probably one of the most unrealistic things I've ever seen in BB.

How a PG with likely basic inside skills can score 72 points on a center is just absurd. Especially since the PG was placed in the post.

BB really needs to be a lot more adaptable in how they design the offense - defense matchups. Basketball isn't as simple as, "This guy is guarding this guy and the positions mean nothing, so if the PG is playing C but playing on the perimeter, the C chases him to the perimeter."

I am really glad that in reality, there are no centers and power forwards who play on the perimeter like Bargnani, Dirk, Frye, etc...

I am really glad that in reality, those guys are close to 7 foot, and have inside skills. And largely don't shoot 39 jump shots per game.

I don't know about Dirk never putting up 39 Shots in a game... but I think he did do that quite regularly.

Channing is hitting about 80% of his shots beyond the arc, and he clearly is a bad rebounder.
Dirk is another great example for an outside shooting Big Man. These kind of players do exist in reality...

Has anyone tried that against a zone defense? In theory this should only work against a Man to Man, right? In a zone defense a decent perimeter defender could take over to defend the Dirk´s and Channing´s and you can´t create that kind of mismatch.

well, yes and no. If you have four good outside shooters and play against a 3-2 zone, one guy will be open most of the time.
