im not as scared either of the ebl but mainly because a lot of the top teams have gone bot and the teams that have gone up in their place are still making a transition to real EBL level. in fact when there are so many teams going up there is less incentive perhaps to strive ahead of the others that come up with you and when the teams that have been there forever are so untouchable.
i think that will change though as sooner or later there will be an "arms" rush at the bottom leaving the slowest/worse teams to fight to avoid relegation.
unforutnately ive been so busy i havent even looked at either side of the EBL to see who's there or even who might be going up from the other divisions.
i think everyone who is promoted gets the £1m but if you are bot promoted i heard that you dont get the big season ticket holder boost.
also you say your arena is holding you back compared to me, i realised once i put the investment in that im not actually making that much more than a team with a smaller arena and higher prices. its almost like there is a £ revenue cap at our level provided you can optimise your price for your arena whatever size it is. the good thing for me is i have made that investment so should i promote ill instantly be able to benefit from more ticketholders, providing i can get the pricing right quickly...
and ill be able to spend the £1m on a player rather than growing my arena.
