good thing my bigs know how to play outside and that my guards know how to play inside if you are reading me Kwyjibo ;)

hows the BBBL treating you? i'm hoping to go back up into the Big 8 division. Would be nice for a change to play against other teams.and from a draft perspective it's also the better division to be in, in the event my economy would be stretched to the limit before going back up.i've got 2 spots to fill and not much cash, to first season will once again be one for survival. But i'll worry about that once i get there :D

first gotta get outa II again, and it won't be that easy. but i'm delighted to see you are still active.

Thinking about just relegating and rebuilding with the cash I get in the following weeks. My team is just not good enough to compete in first division. Only had about 2 million to spend when I joined the BBBL which just isnt enough. Now Im just going to take the money, the draft pick and try to return next season (got a good enough team to immediately become a champion).

Need to obtain a new generation of players good enough to compete in BBBL. My old generation (Gunduz, etc.) wont last for much longer. I need more younger players :-)

tanking becomes much harder now. i had a simular problem. i've got a full group of belgians now. If we exclude Ottevaere, i got a team that could go on for a while. I'll replace the older players slowely. Got a couple of nice ones comming along and i should be able to fight in the BBBL soon enough. There are some positions which you just can't train and need a lot of cash to buy. PF's are one of those positions. and new generation guards are also hard to find. Joe is once again building a team that is going to be rock solid. I'm expecting him to get several championships once again. Question is, will he hang on to Vercaigne and Mees or try to sell them and salvage some cash from them for his next players.

in the BBBL to be succesfull, you need to be shrewed, find good deals and gotta take shots when you can. i'm going to go up with some cash, tho i might go for a player just before the PO's. if i find the right guy, then i'll go for it. That way, i'll keep group together. Considering the BBBL, Marichal and Asim are worthy of the lvl imo. Baudoux, De Cloedt and Corman are great back ups. And Otto will be something special because of his XP.

But i'll need a new Guard and a new Big man when i join the BBBL if i want to compete.

cool stats. You should do that more often. Really cool stuff. And Looks like Thomas Cook is just targetted by the refs... teams should be carefull who they field against them, cause high ammount of fauls brings a higher risk for an injury... Bitt surprized that Ottevaere didn't get the MVP of the evening. We're talking about grabbing 20 boards at the SF spot here, combining that with dropping 32 points on the opponent. Altho, i'm pretty sure i could earn some MVP honors at another game :D So i don't mind seeing Hackett run away with it.

anyone noticed for the Allstar game the selection that the team who is currently leading the race for PO HCA ( Antwerp Angels) only has got 2 back-ups in the allstar game?

i've got a team with NT worthy SG Marichal, allong with a great Bigman in Bari and Far above average Baudoux. And i've got the former NT SF Ottevaere running around too. And who gets in? my back up Guard/forward and my Bigman Bari... Those aren't even the top 2 players on my roster.

you can argue that Marichal was injured for a while and that he played out of position, but Vercaigne did so in the BBBL last season and got the nod in the allstar game despite playing most of the time at the SF, PG or C spot... but Ottevaere should have made that list either as a SG or a SF, because he played a lot of games there.... pretty disappointed by the allstar selection...

I will add those stats after each match as from now.

Regarding the All Star selection, I understand your frustration.
I have no explanation, however from my side I'm not surprise to have my SG and C in the selection.

Actually we didn't plan to add another player this season.
But this dude came along and we tought it was an opportunity we could pass on. Together with Jitaru and Jerinic he should form a great backcourt.

Still we don't want to talk about title contention, our trainees are still much too weak to compete on a higher level.
But if possible, we would like to get some finals action this season, and maybe win our home game, and maybe... oh no, let's stop right there.
