In all honesty other than beinh able to rebound he doesn't seem to put up that good numbers anyway. The way it's looking we should bite the bullet and take the hit early and replace him with a better candidate. What's the max number of players allowed on the roster? It'd be nice to call up a back up in case

He is a amazing defender for a 21 year old.
I won't take the hit and I will find a replacement very soon.
He is a very good big man and he doesn't have to shoot.
I will take Beauchemin off the team at mid-season.

Why do it mid-season? If we go far in the America's championship it's better to replace him sooner than later

I'm not saying he's not an amazing defender, but the fact of the matter is, his current owner doesn't seem to be worried about GS at all. (This can change in the future... maybe?). He may have great defence skills, but that becomes kinda moot if his GS keeps up the way it is... or down that is. Not saying he's bad, but if we're gonna take him off (likely based off the way his owner is going) then we may as well take him out now when it doesn't matter as much than take an enthusiasm hit later when the games start to matter more and get harder.

No taking anyone off the team. Roster has 18 spots without penalty and only 12 play in a games anyway. Use up those 18 spots before releasing anyone and just dont dress that player for games. Why waste enthusiasm?

Ah I see, so the max is 18. Then there's no immediate need to kick him off. Although I dislike the idea of rewarding that guy with any extra merch income for having a U21 player. No matter how little >.>

Yeah if we know we won't need 18 players during the season (which is probably the case), then no point in removing him from the roster

For Beaudry, isn't it possible to "protect" him from retirement by putting him on the team? It wastes a spot sure but if he was bound to become a starter next season that's something to consider...

Edit: I know it's too late for him. But if this occurs again in the future that might be a way to avoid losing great players
