For my own sake, I'm out of BB Global until Wednesday.

Not every complaints is wrong, some arguments are good, but I have just no personal interest to keep answering and deal with the whole thing.

You didn't last long. Pitiful.

The fact is we're not discussing the same thing, and you're only responding to one of my concerns about one of the changes.

And we can't have a discussion when you're saying I'm wrong and then explaining why I'm wrong by giving examples that have nothing to do with what I said.

It is so frustrating, not just for me, trying to discuss things with BBs, and EGMs, because we always end up with the same thing. You all saying you're right, that any reasoned argument will be dismissed with barely a thought, and by bickering over things that have nothing to do with the original argument.

You are saying that you have a concern about people not winning POs on purpose and about people helping friends.
And I'm telling you that both things are happening now.

I'm not going to repeat this again, so for the last time. The situations both you and Perpete mentioned are not the same as the artificial one you're introducing, therefore you can't say what is going to happen is already happening. Its not the same, and so you're not answering.

And again for the last time, this isn't the only thing I've said about promotion and I haven't only spoken about promotion. Yet nothing else has been mentioned, and so those concerns, (eloquently expressed, I might add) have been ignored.

You want to discuss things but you don't like that we disagree with you?

Very insulting. What basis do you have for saying that?

what about 7th and 8th places being demoted, 6th places facing each other and 5th places keeping cool? this way you'll have 5 teams demoted instead of 4, it increases mobility but not as radically as having 6 teams demoted.

I habe no issue wirh the mobility, but so much promotion money for everyone is troubling.

maybe non-champion teams who get the possibility of being promoted should receive less money (they don't get the attendance boost anyway). those teams should also be able to choose not being promoted.

Okay, real talk, I am not a huge fan of the promotion/demotion system. 6 teams demoted!?!? That''s a lot of teams. So, if I get 7th this season, does this mean Im demoted next season? Or does this officially start next season? *This was the season where I focused primarily on training, but if 7th is demoted, and 5th/6th battles it out this season, then I need to change priorities*

Also, something does not match up if this rule occurs...There are 4 Leagues in League II, so that would mean 8 new teams in the Final League...but only 6 are demoted..So how does that work!?!?

My main problem is the promotion/demotion system. The numbers don't match up and it did with the old promotion/demotion system. Can anyone tell me if this rule occurs this season, because I really need to change priorities if so.

See, you and I assume BB see that as unrealistic, but I see that as fundamental to basketball management and obviously it takes a slightly different form in a game. You have extremes like the 76ers that have employed the strategy of rebuilding, but most teams will want to rebuild through draft picks/picking up youth. If you look at Celtics who did it pre-big 3, Cavs picking up several top picks then making a run when they could pick up Lebron, Timberwolves now are investing in their youth. The way the new system is being brought through, it'll heavily encourage the selling of some of the youth in order to continue trying to be top 4 in your conference; not letting you actually get the resources needed to make a big push. And if you look at my team history, you'll notice it isn't full tanking (because it has never made sense regardless), but trying to maintain as low a salary as possible and continue competing.

Agree. There is many examples in NBA of rebuilding some people say is unrealistic. 76ers, Timberwolves, Cavs before were on the bottom, Golden State before Curry and Monta Ellis before (even with Ellis they were on the bottom, then they picked up Curry, traded Ellis for some assets that helped them to be where they are now). So I would say it is very realistic. Someone wants more examples? Look at the NHL. Edmonton with McDavid and Toronto with Matthews. Both teams are rebuilding around young prospects and arenas are full every night, because fans are excited about their teams rebuilding and are willing to wait 3-5 years for the successes.
