I hope that economic update algorithm will use data from Monday night as it should, not from now. Because otherwise everyone who made any transactions lately, will still have incorrect finances (especially ones who bought today players/staff like me).

You are not newbie here, you know how it works, unfortunately.

Your risk at starting price 1$, and this is not my opinion, but BBs.

They surely will not list him again. Sadly, but true.

Yeah there's always a risk that the price is going to be below what one can expect, and I would accept the low price if everything would have run properly. But there should be the same conditions for every one. That's not the case if the last hour of bidding is missing. It's not only unfair for the seller, but also for the managers who would have wanted to bid on him (he was bookmarked by 6 managers)...

Check "Server downtime":

"...When placing a player on the TL, we advise the lowest acceptable value is put as a starting price. This will insure that the player is never sold for less. Since crashes are unpredictable and virtually unpreventable (although we work very hard on avoiding them), setting a lower value is considered risky. In these cases, the seller is accepting a small possibility of a server crash with hopes of getting buyers into a bid war and selling the player for much more than the lowest acceptable value. Therefore, the responsibility lies with the seller...."

This is stupid...

As I said before, it's not only unfair for the seller, but also for the possible buyers. Is the BBs advice (for the buyers) to bid the max right at the beginning because you can never know?

Because it has become the norm, all those imperfections, instabilities and etc., we take it as an everyday occurrence. In 2020 and we still have to deal with this kind of stuff on a regular basis, it's not like a blackhole suddenly opened up somewhere and it cannot be stopped. It imbalances the game, creates unfair advantages and then you wonder why longtime users abandon.

It's true, the responsibility lies with the seller. It is a risk to list low, after all.

We try to avoid occurrences like this but they still happen, sadly. I'm not alone but when it comes to very complex issues like what we had yesterday, it's basically only my job to fix them. I gave my email here in the bugs forum to make sure users can contact me when such bugs occur, and they have (thank you guys!), sadly it was already 24 hours late at that moment.

We will recalculate player transfer salaries as if the economy updates ran on time (or at least their usual time), so no worries about that.
