One other question!!

About Cup Income...

Some Cups are 8 rounds some are 13... will the money for round 8 be the same as round 8 all across the world or will the final be worth the same as a final elsewhere and the early rounds up til 5 pay out a nominal amount?

I can certainly se the need for this changes, even though the very late announcement is not good at all. Anyway, that's done now and there is not much to do about it now.

Even though BB-Charles points out that the economy will still have a positive net inflow I see a great risk of psychology driven deflation the upcomming months followed by inflation. Thus, I think it is important that BB is very clear about that they will be monitoring the economy continuosly in order to get a small continuous inflation; if everything has been calculated correctly no changes will be done, however if we get into deflation or inflation taxes will be adjusted in order to achieve the decired small inflation. Everything to try to minimize any psychological effects.

actually I'm really glad, that you are making some changes in economy. Because caching up those DI guys was practically impossible before. I hope this is where understanding game tactics and training guys comes even more into play. Cause it was becoming something like hattrick2 where you lose to the guy only because he has bigger stadium and plays higher D.

A small suggestion: Try to avoid abbrevations like DI in the news and take the time to speel them out instead (division I). For people that are not too familiar with the english language abbrevations like DI may become a barrier, making it difficult for them to read the news.

There were distinct positives where the old TV games formula is concerned.

TV money were guaranteed regardless of performance, which in fact provided stability to income within the same division. You are now shifting all income to attendance, which will open a can of worms trying to make sure that teams that lose several games in a row are not too hurt financially.

Moreover, with a relatively large lump sum transfer early in the season, team were able to invest in arena or players immediately, not wait for profits to build up. Of course, this consideration will soften as the wage structure fills up, but I thought the fact that it still hasn't made the lump transfer even more of a benefit.

To the whiners:
a) stop complaining or stop playing :-P
b) adapt, adapt, adapt

(BTW, having a cushion is good management, not pure luck)

To the BBs: do you guys talk to the HTs about the economy and how to drive economic policies? HT is a more mature and has gone through periods of inflation and deflation... Just a thought :-)

All in all, thanks for making improvements to the game. Or, as some would say, for trying to improve the game :-D

Actually, having a cushion is likely bad management, since you're not utilizing your resources to the maximum. Well, of course, if you expect a 25% cut in revenue in the end of any given season, it might be the right thing to do.

Having a cushion on runaway inflation is bad management.

Hey Charles,

Teams who will take the championship this upcoming playoff and will be promoted to a higher league will also enjoy the money reward or is it only relevent for the next season?

I think it will be wrong to not reward those teams, couse if so, they will "suffer" the new laws in the higher leagues "40%" 25%" but wont get the pluses of the new economic system (rewards)
