Tym razem Holender na forum dla trenerów:
Hi Ofer,
once again I offer you my apologies for breaking your trust in this way. Not that it helps you in any way, but I just want to make clear that I am not proud of what I did. I even agree with you that breaking a TIE deal is unethical. And if nobody offers me a TIE deal ever again, that's just fine!
I have never, nor will I ever, offered anyone a TIE deal because I feel it is unfair towards the other teams in competition. On top of that, I believe that you force your opponent to give away information about his plans for the game. Whatever answer (even no answer at all, or a polite decline) will tell you something about the attitude level they will be playing at. And there is always the chance that the offering team is looking for a cheap win...
And then the timing: we are playing an European Championship! Every team there is fighting hard to get as far as they possibly can. After our loss against Poland we needed a win against Israël to even stay in the tournament. And untill I received your mail this Sunday, the only way to achieve that (in my opinion) was by CTing... You took an (in retrospect) unneeded risk, and without the offer, you probably would have won 9 out of 10 games, if not every one!
So again: I am very sorry to have broken your trust, but that's a risk you were willing to take!
Może pozostawię to bez komentarza, bo jednak dorabianie filozofii do takiej akcji jest g... zachowaniem
