What a crazy game. Thought WW would pull that one out in the 4th with the injury and foul-out. Looks like a 30 point swing from what the PP100 show. Maybe it's not a cursed season after all?

but really, wow... what changed? from a loss to a 23 point win!?!

I'm really too confused to be upset with this loss. I did think Coco would knock me out of the playoffs all season long, but my win over him last week gave me some hope. I mean, I wouldn't be surprised by the blow out in a vacuum as I consider his team far superior to mine, but it's strange in light of my win vs. him. And I didn't play my 8k SF this time around, so I thought my lineup would be stronger. I guess I should've known my luck against him would fall short tonight, when a random D.IV team messaged me wishing me "good luc".

So I'm curious, why throw this game? If you win a rel series in two games don't you get a week off of paying salaries and save yourself an extra 400-500k cash? I can see PON, but throwing it? Will make for an interesting game on Tuesday I hope. Good luck to you.

Good game SM. After the GS update I had a feeling I'd get this one. Seems kinda lame that I stole HCA late in season just because you were still in the cup, you have basically are the only legit team of the B8. Brian probably did me a favor knocking me out of the cup when he did. I figured you were going to win the cup so I didn't feel bad about stealing HCA at the time, but I underestimated shikago. Unless I pull some kind of upset looks like the G8 is going to deservedly sweep this season.

Can't really trash talk you Coco, I would wish you good luck but that would be BS cuz I'm really hoping for injuries lol. Seeing the way you demolished WW today I'm not too confident. Hopefully it will be entertaining at least

Thanks, it was a well earned win. I would have needed a big GS advantage to even have a chance at beating Coco on the road anyway, so I can live with the season coming to an end here.

I also wouldn't count yourself out just yet, especially with how injury plagued LMA has been.

Really? I was told that we would have to pay salaries this week anyway, like, 1st game of 'week' is the saturday game? Can anyone help with this? I'll feel really stupid if that's not the case, I may have won, maybe. Losing 300k+ for us both so i'm sorry.

That's why I threw, maximizing training. :) Since you also PON, I freakin hope I dont lose! lol

DII Finals preview:

II.1 - Oakland Soldiers vs Finger Rolls (HCA)

Manager mfork and the Finger Rolls look like a favorite in this one. He's got some 100k bigs, 40k guards, HCA, and great GS. The Oakland Soldiers, managed by Slightly Hyphy made it to the finals from the #3 seed after #1 Petersburg fell in the first round. They also have a 100k big and some 40k guards, but less depth and GS.

II.2 - Hows my Dirk Taste vs That's What She Said (HCA)

Namssor took a huge step into making it back to the NBBA by beating #1 Big Shots on the road yesterday. You all know him so no need to go into detail. Manager red and HMDT also beat the #1 seed on the road, both teams have good bigs and guards so should be a great finals. Both are offsite members so I'm happy ;)

II.3 - Visionaries vs Lovable Losers (HCA)

Manager BFiddy and the Lovable Losers went 20-2 this season and are probably the favorite in this one. Now the owner of NT legend Ismael Grubbs, BFiddy could be by far the youngest team in the NBBA next season (started in Season 11!) EDH and I's old D2 rival Peluin and the Visionaries made it to the finals from the #4 seed, winning back to back games on the road. They will have to win at least 1 more road game though, got some solid depth and a great SF type in Jeffrey Havens. Both offsite members again, so yay!!! lol

II.4 - KDB (HCA) vs Bullish Mentality

Beware. Brian could be back and you know he is going to the G8 ;) His opponent is manager AZ and the Bullish Mentality, who have a solid 8 man team, 4 bigs, 4 guards.

If I had to predict I'd say the home teams will sweep, but anyway some very good teams will be promoting next season, so B8 maybe will be a little more competitive.

Monday salaries are based on the following Tuesday and Saturday. Training weeks run Sa - T - R, but Salary weeks run T - R - Sa. So yes, you did just waste monies.
