Upside that's unlikely to be turned into talent because he'll cost over 200k a week next season and no-one except for a NT farm, a B3 contender who's desperate, or someone who fails to understand BB economics will train him any further (except in JS, where he can gain 2 levels without raising his wage according to the wage calculators I used).

I won't disagree with what you said, I would have said exactly the same things you said several seasons ago however the game has changed due to buzzerbeater changing and managers adapting to these changes. The players you need in the yesteryear especially at division 1 and national level are totally different. If you are aiming to win championships and cups, you need some sort of edge. Something that puts you at a level above others that makes you difficult and unlikely to beat. Whether it's for personal benefit: league, cup, B3 or even for the national team's benefit there will be someone who is willing to train him up because he could be trained to become only 1 of maybe 20 players in all of buzzerbeater. That's why teams will buy him and train him to become a unique player. That's why you see countries buy rival country's players and try to fire them or get them out of gameshape. People go to great lengths just get an edge over others.

By the way, what's with all these non-ABBL trolls ;)

hopefully he returns and gets put in the other conference.
1 in 4 chance of that happening.

Your man James Harden won sixth man of the year.

Shame tyson Chalnder got defensive player of the year and not Serge Ibaka. Ibaka got a massive 3.7 blocks per game. Second best was only Dwight and McGee at 2.2 bpg. And theon top of that add all the shots that he alters.

And Durant is probably second to Lebron in MVP.

So OKC had quite a good year.

Yeah, worthy 6th man too. Durant and Westbrook are obvious stars but Harden is the one that really makes this team go i reckon.

Ibaka is good but he's essentially just a weakside blocker/intimidator (admittedly a freakin' awesome one) while Chandler is more of a team changer on defense. I think LeBron was a lot closer than Ibaka for DPOY actually.

I agree the LeBron/Durant MVP race is close. The way Durant is improving, i reckon he'll have it next year.

True that, Ibaka is not as good as Chandler for 1v1defense... hes primarily a weak side helper. I also had a look at Ibaka's defensive rebs.. a measly 4.6... and an overall 7.6 total rebs. Seems kinda low compared to Dwight's 14.5 rpg LOL

Any punts on All NBA first team and second team?

1st team
Kobe
CP3
Lebron
Durant
Dwight (cant see any other centers worthy enough)

2nd team
Rondo
Westbrook or Wade
Griffin
Alridge or Carmelo
Bynum or Love

Well done Mllama and tough luck Koops.

I suspect it might have been a different result if Radford hadnt of gone down.

Yoda is indeed returning to the ABBL and with him comes Melbourne Goldfish (22 nil reguler season), Chumunga and the Crockers (12 , 10 reguler season).

Transfer Markets currently up a bit and Im thinking of selling whats left of my team.

Great 8 could be the better conference for the newly promoted teams to lob in.

Am currently shopping for 2 or 3 half decent developing Small Forwards to follow in Fallons and Pedrosas footsteps.

Would kind of be nice if I could get an Aussie one
