very good idea, he lacks jump range.

well, mine best 2 trainees looks like this:

Weekly salary: $ 8 921
Role: regular starter
(BuzzerBeta)

DMI: 185700
Age: 20
Height: 6'0" / 183 cm
Potential: perennial allstar
Game Shape: proficient

Jump Shot: proficient Jump Range: strong
Outside Def.: wondrous Handling: prominent
Driving: respectable Passing: prolific ↑
Inside Shot: respectable Inside Def.: awful
Rebounding: pitiful Shot Blocking: atrocious
Stamina: awful Free Throw: average

Experience: awful

I love this one due to ideal heigh. I drafted him with 39 skilloints, now he has 72. 16 skill pops last seazon with lvl 4 trainer:D

and this:

Weekly salary: $ 3 521
Role: backup
(BuzzerBeta)

DMI: 47600
Age: 18
Height: 6'8" / 203 cm
Potential: superstar
Game Shape: proficient

Jump Shot: inept Jump Range: mediocre
Outside Def.: inept Handling: mediocre ↑
Driving: strong Passing: proficient
Inside Shot: awful Inside Def.: respectable
Rebounding: respectable Shot Blocking: inept
Stamina: mediocre Free Throw: atrocious

Experience: atrocious

7 pops so far this seazon, whole seazon (and next 3 seazons) going to train only outside skills. Trying to make sf/pf out of this. Tbh would love pf more.

Here is my main trainee:

Weekly salary: $ 3 098
Role: draws a paycheck
(BuzzerBeta)

DMI: 47000
Age: 18
Height: 6'10" / 208 cm
Potential: MVP
Game Shape: proficient
Jump Shot: awful Jump Range: average
Outside Def.: awful Handling: average
Driving: pitiful Passing: atrocious
Inside Shot: respectable ↑ Inside Def.: strong
Rebounding: average Shot Blocking: mediocre
Stamina: inept Free Throw: awful

Experience: atrocious

5 pops so far, training inside skills until he is at least 21, obviously making him a C. Hopefully I can get him onto the U21 team. He probably won't make NT, because of his potential.

I would want more OD and PA on him. It doesn't matetr what kind of gaurd he is , but he needs minimum 13 OD in 21 y.o. season. I would train OD for teh rest of the season and then 1 vs 1 again. I forgot waht 1 vs 1 does, but looks like it's doing good for you. OD for the rest of the season can put 8 minimum (hopefully). In him 21 y.o. season it would be awesome if he had these stats:

Pure PG:

JS:13
JR:9
OD:16
HA:15
DR:14
PA:14

Not the best 21 y.o. Pure, but an awesome one! IDK the builds for U21, but I think he can fit in there

PG/SG (combo Gaurd)

JS:14
JR:10
OD:15
HA:13
DR:12-14
PA:11-15

Pure SG:

JS:16
JR:14
OD:15
HA:12
DR:15
PA:10

I might be wrong on MOST of these stats, but I don't really know about U21 gaurds.

From what I always hear, NEVER train Jump Range, it trains secondarily with other things.

Yeah, if i'm correct, outside shooting can do jump range AND jump shot. Example, my 2nd-best trainee had a pop in jump range when i was training outside shooting........ wait, i think i meant it wrong. it's jump shot, not outside shooting. Am I right, Troy?

Yes, but that won't come until he is 22.

Which means it won't come. You're not seriously going to be paying a guy 50k+/week and then play him with *that* OD and passing 48 minutes per week at PG.

But in the short weeks, I can and probably will give him secondary training.

Pretty sure you're right. I train mostly Big Men atm. but from what I've heard "experts" say, I'm pretty sure you're correct. but I have CONSISTENTLY heard NEVER train jump Range.
