Well looking at the gameplay stats you had strong (high) for IS and the Ranga's had a prof (low) in ID kinda points to a CT bash from Ranga. I would also assume that your 'rivalry' would stop you from underestimating him and playing TIE, just wanted to stir the pot a little. Well think of it this way bains, you should be able to push up your enth now as their doesn't seem to be a way for you to move out of 4th.

I did exactly what I needed to do to cement 3rd spot, also they squares the rivalry ledger between me and bains 2 - 2 over 2 seasons :) there's also the little detail of Bains being my teams "hated rival", so putting on a good performance for the fans is always crucial!

12 points suggest it would have been a pretty close game had we both played norm.

BB sure is a strange game, Bains with double the player salary as me should have just walked through with a comfortable win, regardless of Enthusiasm levels or whatever else.
i'm not going to give everything away, but i had to put at least 35 points of ID on the court to make this play work right.
and it's also very handy when your big men shoot 3's like they did. 5 frm 5 between them (and 10 frm 20 from my team certainly helps.)

We did however nearly fill my newly fitted stadium to capacity, and i've had a glimpse of the money i'll hopefully be making from now on... and i like it... i like it a lot. means i still have more then enough room in my salary cap for another star player next season when i have the spare coin.

Out of the 5 remaining games i have to take on Wag, Rang and Bainsy ON THE ROAD!!! SIGH!!!!! They could of at least given me one home game. My fans dont want to see me beat up on 6th and 7th Spot!!!

It is going to be an interesting run to the finals that is for certain!!

i suppose i shouldve seen it coming being rivals and all that.

4th is mine again and i cant even prepare for who i'll play in the playoffs because who knows who im going to play.

on the bright side my fan survey doesnt take a hit from the loss

They are certainly very different teams to prepare for; the Beasts and the Hippopotomuses. I think the Beasts will be first but as he said he does have a tough run home, but so do I. I have Plebs, then Rangas (CT again?) then Beasts. Not a great 3 game strech, I could easily go 0/3 and drop like a stone and end up below the Rangas, but I am hoping for better. Wouldn't it be funny if the Rangas ended up top and won it all?

I think that would be interesting, it seems that he has you wondering now, CT or no CT, hippos, beasts? Whatever the outcome I look forward to seeing how your side of the ladder works out, I think ours should pretty much sit as is, having played MM already I should be able to make it through reasonably unscathed. The temperature is heating up boys!

we are but a small and humble team, and we don't have an endless supply of enthusiasm to just throw around you know!
and besides I'm no match for the beasts.

I'm excited that my country rank has just jumped to 166. 1 season ago i was in the 400's.

anyways, 5 games to go, good luck to everyone.

I think it will be ACT v Beasts in the finals with ACT winning, but I will be doing everything I can do to make it ACT v Hippopotamouses with Wagadugu coming out as champions.

Donny if you come back here you wont find things as easy as when you left. Several teams are MUCH better so I hope you are hoarding all that mountain of cash you are generating. You will be facing at least one of the Beasts or Blaze and you will need it.

i think we gotta remember, yes alot of teams in this league have improved, but so has Donny..

What i think we're also forgetting, is Donny dominated this league last season.. So the question is, have we bridged the gap, or has Donny gone further ahead thanks to his extra $$$ and things.

Also not only is he stronger, but i am guessing he is a hell of a lot smarter after playing in Div 2 for a season..

As for me, finally happy to get a nice new PG who will enable me to mix it up a bit more than i have :D

That was my PG! I had a bid on him but then had to go and do things, when I came back you had him! Funny we were both bidding on the same guy. I also had a lot more money so if I had been around I could have gone much higher. Second guy I missed out on today because I couldn't be at the close of the auction.

The other thing for Donny is though that he will have to be aware of the "salary cap". When he drops down his income will be decimated and most teams aren't making that much money. Ok teams like you and Rangas are making crazy amounts and I am doing ok but look at the average.

Rangas/Skyhooks +150-200K a week
Hippopotamuses - Typical Weekly Net Income: $ 116 079
League - League Average Net Income: $ 74 395
So some teams are making very little.
