What if those scrubs will be 18-year-old HOFs? It would be unfair..

This is simple - make them all have the lowest possible potential and all atrocious skills.

On the whole this suggestion is too complicated to come true, especially with injury reserves.

It is not more complicated than any other part of the game. And it makes it more of a managers game. I play a text-based football game that has a similar rule for the injury reserves. No one has ever complained that the rule is complicated.

The following isn't meant to sound rude in anyway so I am sorry if it does sound that way. This is just a friendly discussion :)

How can you think your 11k salary center matches up with my 26k salary center?

How about we just compare our top 5 players. My salary average per player would jump considerably and yours would stay about the same with maybe a slight increase.

Also, I can see the stats of the majority of your team and they don't have defence above Respectable (except one Strong), and you have no shooters with Strong JS or IS. My team has high defence, and high shooting (In the 8-13 range for all starters).

I think you would need at least 4 million dollars right now if you wanted to buy a team that could beat me.
Also my arena is a lot bigger than yours.

I almost started a thread like this a week or so ago. After I realized what I was going to say did not make much sense, I didn't post. However, I want to add some comments:

* Yes, I've done quite a bit of trading, including the technique of generating money for myself by buying low (early morning Europe time) and selling high (late afternoon europe time). Snatching up players worth a lot more then they were going for in the TL. Even at a taxation rate of me getting about 20% of the sale price.

* If you spend a lot of time playing a game, that game should reward you for putting in that effort. The only part of BB where you can spend a lot of time, is the market, playing the market part of BB. I do spend quite some time analyzing the competition
as well, but more at the TL. And that pays off for me

* As a beginning player, it has significantly increased my knowledge of this game by trading players. I regret some of the trades I made, because I should have kept some players. At the time I though I needed to get rid of them. I've had many many players in matches and I think I now have learned pretty well how to get a balanced team. And that shows in my teams ability to beat teams ranked around 10K on a regular basis.

* As Day trader I've always traded to make my team better, not to earn BB-$$$

* I'm now at a loss about what to do with my time. I can not find any players I want to buy anymore. I need to wait for my income to increase for a couple of games before I have enough cash to buy a player that would better fit my roster. My ultimate goal is to buy/train a better team. Day Trading only gets you so far, especially if a lot of people do day trading.

Yeah rivalry is always fun :)

Yeah I realise my biggest weakness at the moment is the number of players. I only have 5 permanent players, the other 3 I will fire before the salary update if they don't sell. I plan on buying one more player before playoffs start though so I will go in to playoffs with 6 players. The reason I had to cut down my roster was because of an injury my starting powerforward received last week so I had to sell a few players and buy a more expensive player to make my playoff run.

My center is short, however I did not train him up to this point so the height doesn't matter to me. And he is definitely not an SF, haha or just a really bad SF :D

I only have 1 real trainee which is the 18 year old. Everyone else on the team will get trained with him depending on what I'm training that week. But I always do 1 position training where available. The training for the rest of the team is to just get a few pops here and there and that should be enough to increase the value of those players by at least 1 million collectively. And I find 24-25 year olds still pop with decent consistency - I got 3 pops this week so I think it is worth it.

Yeah I think you need at least another million in your arena, however your tv income and merchandise is probably higher than me because you are in a higher division so that would narrow the gap in attendance income.

Goodluck to you too! Hopefully you can promote to div 1. That would be good :)
Looking forward to our match!

this is a question to you GM-FOTO.....Do the GM's and BB's like the current tax system, or is there something in the works to make things harder for day traders?
