I was more getting at, that after that happened the forums were dead for remainder of the season. There wasn't any trolling!
It only picked up again when they started talking about Season 2.

I didn't contribute to the MVP war.
I only headed the start time charge.
Can you smell what the Hobos are cooking... oh wait its just Roger.

I think you tried to do some trolling to liven things up again, but it failed.

And I guess it is just too bad that those still playing in the current season got booted out of the forum while the season is still going ;)

Season 1 was a disaster and ended mid season it is true. We who are still in the league are well over last season and looking forward to leaving that behind and enjoying the season ahead.
Unfortunately there are those who have nothing better to do than try to stir up sh!t for their own amusement. I agree with Kilr's decision and suggested that we close the forum to our own, at least until we get things rolling smoothly. Anyone who wishes to share positive info is more than welcome to PM myself or Kilr.
We are not here to make enemies, we are just trying to start up a fun and competitive PL, similar to the Fishpond. After all we are all in the Aussie League and the idea is to (along with providing fun for those in the league) bring growth to help make our's a more competitive country league! ;-)

Yeah absolutely Koop!
Probably take us a while to get things sorted but no reason why we can achieve that down the line.

Season 2 - Round 1 Review:
Game 1: Moosas Mad Men vs Vis Maior
- 119-106
This was a pretty even match and the closest result of the round. Both teams opted to run outside offenses and inside defenses. Without a doubt MMM's SG Slavec was the big difference in this battle. He scored a massive 40pts and shot 65% from the field and 55% from beyond the arc. VM's Mulvey and Zubieta were also good offensively with 30 & 26 respectively but could not equal Slavec's accuracy. MMM centre Vercinskas dominated the glass with 18reb while his direct opponent (Tims) fell just 2ast short of a triple double. I can't help but wonder if VM would have faired better with an inside O but MMM take a well deserved victory this time around.
MOTM: V.Slavec [MMM]
Game 2: Gold Nuggets vs Aussie Battlers
- 71-103
AB set the pace right from the get go out scoring GN 30-6 in the first quarter. The margin then pushed out another 17pts in the 2nd leaving AB ahead by 41 at half time. Gn's coach must have put a rocket up his lads at half time as they came out and won the next two quarters. Unfortunately the damage had already been done and they fell short by 32pts. Experience triumphed over youth in this game and AB's 'Hall of Famer' PF Hemmati was a clear standout with 32pts, 18reb and 3blk. Doubles also went to AB's C Manovsky and also back up PF Capriolo who managed 10pts and 12reb in just 17 min of play. GN can at least take some experience out of this game and can always look ahead to next week to make the required adjustments.
MOTM: I.Hemmati [AUS]
Game 3: Sydney Sea Eagles vs Vio's Violationers
- 69-112
VV dished out the biggest defeat of the round, giving newcomer SSE a very warm welcome to the TEA Cup. Every quarter went to VV though some mercy was shown in the last. The twin towers of VV were unstoppable as many teams have found before. None more outstanding than powerhouse PF Bozo Vasilic who racked up 31pts, 20reb, 4ast & 3blk while shooting 62% from the field. Both of his direct opponents fouled out and sent Bozo to the line 13 times of which 11 were hit. Rowlands also doubled up with 16pts, 17reb & blocked 5 shots. All in all it was a long night for SSE with only two players managing double figures Pilarz - 16pts & Viani 14pts, both at least shot 50% from the field. VV can't get too cocky after such big victory as they face season 1 finalists Hadders Heroes next up. SSE should at least fair better in their next game against WC Steel.
MOTM: B.Vasilic [VIO]

Round 1 Review Cont:
Game 4: West Coast Steel vs The Dons
- 122-108
[Game of the week]
The battle of the brothers was next and what a shoot out it turned out to be, this game had injuries and foul outs. Only 2pts separated the teams after the 1st, WCS then blew out in the 2nd only for The Dons to blast back into the game in the 3rd. Unfortunately for DON that was all she wrote as WCS put in one final charge to close out the 4th and take the game. Depending on how you look at it either smart moves made by WCS or a bad decision by DON proved crucial. Clearly outside games played by both with each teams PG/SG/SF doing most of the scoring, 85 for WCS and 78 for DON. DON won just about every game stat only to be let down by their shooting % going 48% fg and 29% from 3pt against WCS 50% & 41%. No doubt DON will be putting this one down as the one that got away.
MOTM: P.Nguyen [WCS]
Game 5: BroomeTime vs Snuffies
- 83-116
Two brand new entrants to the TEA Cup met up in the 5th game of the week. Unfortunately for BT they couldn't have picked a worse starting draw coming up against ABBL experienced and widely considered favourite Snuffies. To no surprised Snuffies put on a dominant performance winning every quarter from start to finish. BT were well represented by SG De Lorenzo who top scored for the game with an impressive 34pts, though he did take close to half his team's shots. Snuffies were just too good all over with SF Air and PG Reyes scoring 28 & 27 respectively. Did I mention Air shot 11/11 fg including 3/3 3pt? Snuffies out did BRO in virtually every statistic (bar 3pt %) and eased through to their first of no doubt many victories. BRO face Vis Maior next up and should be able to put the pieces back together just in time to prove they have more to offer.
MOTM: R.Air [SNU]
Game 6: Hadders Heroes vs Screaming Eagles
- 124-97
Surprisingly the final game of the round turned out to be a bit of a fizzer. Both sides were finalists in the last season but HH proved they were the better side on this day. SE will probably regret opting to play an inside defense due to HH running motion. Tactics can make all the difference and in this situation it obviously did. HH shot 51% fg & 50% (13/26) beyond the arc. HH PG Krasny was outstanding shooting 26pts at 76% and 3-5 3pt but unfortunately fouled out after 32 minutes of play. SF Vahey did well also with 25pts & 12reb while C Torroni doubled up as well with 10pts and 11reb. SE's SG Quasi top scored for the game with 34pts and shot an impressive 8-14 triples. PG Stevens showed his talent just missing a triple double with 28pts, 9ast & 8reb. PF Hayvaert managed a nice double with 11pts and 16reb. HH can expect to do well especially after taking a good win early on. SE will need to go back to the drawing board to turn things around next week.
MOTM: K.Krasny [HAD]
