Thanks for sharing that I only pull in a little over 50k. I haven't really been good with money but I'm learning.

Inter-league play has offically begun. Were a third of the way into the season and there are still 2 undefeated teams left. It'll be interesting to see how the do as they play rivals from the other side of the conference.

They Said It:

"Are they playing basketball or football? I mean look at them some of the franchises even have NSBL(National Super Bowl League) names. All they do is pass, run, and turn the ball over. At their best they avg.14 points a quarter.I went to a Dolphins scrimmage this year and hear someone on the team yell "Touchdown" after they got a fast break dunk. True idiocy ." -- Coal Miners' Cristóbal Sacristan Roy remarks on the Dolphins, their upcoming inter-conference match opponent.

1. (1) Coal Miners

The Coal Miners continue to put up amazing statement wins. They beat WWIAFTM by 20 resting there starters, and took out the Buffalo Wings by a nice 26 points. Will Hickey had a huge week putting up 31 on the WWIAFTM. As far as Cristobal Sacristan Roy goes, he keeps on coming up big.

2. (2) Cincinnati Lakers

Getting through the tough Great 8 with a 6-1 record puts them up ahead of the Stallions by the slimmest of margins. Claudio Sandolli is doing work in the post so far. He pulled down 17 rebounds against the LA Thunder as the Lakers cruised. It'll be interesting to see if anyone but the Coal Miners can challenge them.

3.(3) Tenn Stallions

The Stallions once again proved that they were by far the most dominating team in the Big 8. They took out the then 2nd place detroit lions by 33. Vincenzo Dineralli proved that he could come up big scoring 29 against the lions. They should be able to breeze through most of the Big 8 but itll still be intereting to see how they do.

4.(4) Buffalo Wings

The Wings only have 2 losses but both have come to the Lakers and the Miners. They're definately a step behind them but I don't think its that huge of a step. They have two games comng up against the bottom 3 of the Big 8 that should help them recover from the 26 point between from the Coal Miners.

5.(5) Bollingbrook Tigers

Bollingbrook had a rotinue week against 00NewS and macintosh, two of the Great 8 bottom feeders. They easily beat both to help get back n the winning ways. Yu Yufa continues to be there only real contributitor in both games puttng up 23 and 18 respectfully. They play lemoss to start off inter-conference play. It should be interesting to see how they react to Yufa.

6.(NR) lemoss

I'm going to leave all the $ signs out of the name but move this team into the 6th spot. They've beaten the Makos and have come the closest to taking out the Stallions. They've also won 5 straight. They have 2 extremely tough games against Bollingbrook and Buffalo. If David Pinard can keep scoring this team could have what it takes to pull off some upsets.

7.(7) WWIAFTM

WWIAFTM stays at the 7th spot. Until I see how they play against some Big 8 talent, I'm going to keep them ahead of some teams. They managed to pull out a 22 point win over the LA Thubder. They face off against the Stallions this week which should be an interesting game.

8. (8) detroit lions

The detroit lions only lost to the Tenn. Stallions. I don't know if I think there better than the Makos at this point, especally since they lost hugely against the Stallions but I'm going to keep them here this week.

Game of the Week: Tenn Stallions @ WWIAFTM

I don't think this will be a close game, with the Stallions easily winning but I'm keeping my eye on it just because I think it'll be a good gauge to see where each conference compares against each other. If WWIAFTM can pull of a stunner then they'll be in great playoff contention.

Looks good. An All-star appearance every time they walk on the court.

Last year, espcially early on the Big 8 had the conference advantage over the Great 8. It looks like that might have finally turned around this year. Now the Great 8 holds 11-5 advantage and the wins haven't been pretty.

1. (1) Coal Miners

The Miners just continue to roll they ran there record up to 9-0 this week after just running the Philadelphia Heat out of the building. The San Diego Makos held there ground against the Miners but that one wasn't in jeopardy ever either. They should be able to get to 11-0 easily this week as there offense continues to score big.

2. (2) Cincinnati Lakers

This is the one team that relies the least on any one player. This week it was Grdimir Portada carrying the load scoring 15.5 this week and averging 8.5 assists. This week they have there first big game in awhile. Saturday night they have an epic game against the Tenn. Stallions.

3.(3) Tenn Stallions

The Stallions looked pretty good in their first week of interleague play. They beat the WWIAFTM by 36 points before hammering the LA Thunder by 53. This week they have a huge chance to prove that they are an elite team as they face off againt the Cincinnat Lakers. If they want to win this game there going to need there defense to continue to be stifling and get a solid effort from Jaime Sena.

4.(4) Buffalo Wings

The Wings contine to roll too. They only have two losses still and Stephen Brock continues to be a consistant scorer for this team. If he and Nicholas Faulkner can keep it up they could be a threat in the postseason. They have two easy games this week.

5.(5) Bollingbrook Tigers

Quique Suarez has finally helped Yu Yufa out in the scoring department. He's averaging 16.5 points per game. The Tigers are still one piece away from being in the top 4 of this conference but there really doing good. They beat lemoss by 32 and Carolina by 40. This week they have two easy games too.

6.(8) detroit lions

detroit joins the Stallions as the only team in the Big 8 to win both of there interconference games this week. Whie it was true that the two games they played were against the bottom third of the conference they still ran there record up to 7-2. Even though I don't think they get 2 more wins the rest of the interconference play, this team could put together a 12 or 13 win season.

7.(6) lemoss

Lemoss had a tough week this week. They played both Buffalo and Bollingbrook. They'll get some wins as there hardest two teams they'll have to face are out of the way. Look for this team to make the playoffs in the depleted Big 8.

8. (7) WWIAFTM

The WWIAFTM look like a long shot for any playoff spot as they now sit 2 games back of the Bollingbrook Tigers but they did manage to avenge a huge loss to the Stallions by destroying fellow 5th place team The Dolphins.

Game of the Week: Cincinnati Lakers @ Tenn Stallions

Last year the Stallions eeked out a 2 point wn over the Lakers. This year both are among the conscenous top 3 of V. 41. Both could easily be gone next year too. The winner of this game gets a little bit more confidence in its team. It's also a match up of the best defense in V. 41 against the second best offense. This could be a huge game that will go a long way to determining the Stallions perfect season.

That's going to be a good one. Yeah it's dreadfully dry in the Big 8 but I hope The Heat sticks around I have confidence they will get up to 2nd place by season's end.

I'm back after my week off. Good news for me is that my SF Rancan will be back before the allstar break. Looking forward to my game against Tenn.
