I agree, I just thought that if he never shoots he could still be a good asset. If he is a ball hog, well then I obviously have a problem and will find a new trainee.

Honestly? I do not think so. The main reason is that the OD and ID are really low along with atrocious driving. So regardless if you trained a guard or forward you still wouldn't be able to make up the ground necessary because he is also 6'7'' and not able to train very fast on inside or outside tactics. He seems like a SF candidate however a SF needs to have solid OD/ID and you would have to fix both.

I'm not trying to be a downer, but realistically I don't think he has a shot. Does that mean you shouldn't train him? Absolutely not...with MVP potential he has a lot of good training years without capping.
