Hi, I have a similar question. This is my future (hopefully all-around) SF and I was wondering how should he look like in the end. I thought I'd stop training inside skill when IS, ID and reb are all proficient and then focus on the outside skills, but I have no idea where should I stop with these.

DMI: 73300
Age: 19
Height: 6'2" / 188 cm
Potential: hall of famer
Game Shape: proficient

Jump Shot: strong Jump Range: strong
Outside Def.: strong Handling: strong
Driving: strong Passing: strong
Inside Shot: strong Inside Def.: respectable
Rebounding: respectable Shot Blocking: average
Stamina: atrocious Free Throw: atrocious

Thanks!

Brilliant prospect. Looking at his skills I'd say he would be an SF. But, his height suggests SG. I would train him as SG and one day he'll become a beast. Although he's great even now. Good all around player. I would concentrate on JR and hopefully he'll pop in jump shot, driving and handling along the way. He might come out like this:

Jump Shot: 9 (+1) Jump Range: 11 (+3)
Outside Def.: 12 Handling: 8 (+1)
Driving: 9 (+1) Passing: 7
Inside Shot: 7 Inside Def.: 6
Rebounding: 5 Shot Blocking: 7

I'm afraid you have no time left for inside skills.

How about these ending skills? Salary around 80 k. Age 23. You can train further, he's MVP. He would be great SG/SF combo.

Jump Shot: 13 (+5) Jump Range: 14 (+6)
Outside Def.: 15 (+7) Handling: 13 (+5)
Driving: 13 (+5) Passing: 8
Inside Shot: 8 Inside Def.: 8 (+1)
Rebounding: 7 Shot Blocking: 6

Aight , thanks guys.

I'll prolly train his inside skills a wee bit more and then focus on outside skills as Manon suggested. He's popped in rebouding since btw.

Thank for you help it looks like in order to get him to the skill set that you mentioned I will be training him until he is 25. I think it is a great plan, and I do have another similar trainee that I am training with him.

Thanks

You play hime where you want according to the skills, the position depends on the coach.
Potential tells you the room for improvement in trainning.
