Hm, I dunno, maybe he will, but I think he'll still play hard, he promised multiple rings...

I remember hearing him say on TV

"not 3..... not 4....., not 5...., not 6...., not 7......

He'll make 3 at most

Jesus, 17 of the 20 players under 10k on the V league all-stars? I had forgotten how big the gap in talent between D5 and all the other divisions was.

Ya, but the gap between D3 and D4 is pretty large as well, look at the salaries of the ASs...

Depends on what Miami does with the team, they do have the potential to win more than 3, although I hope that this was the only one lol

Thanks for all the input!

LeBron's Cavs teams were pretty stellar standings-wise in the East during the regular season, with exception to his first couple of seasons, but I see the point you're making.

I was curious if the voting mirrored the fan voting in the NBA when selecting the starters, and/or how the coaches voting works in the NBA when selecting the reserves, with more weight on rewarding winning teams, somewhat similar to the MVP award. Looks like it's based more on statistics, with other factors to a lesser extent.

Ya, I think its based more on stats... Players have to consistently put out good numbers...

Man, the three point competition is underway. A guy from the Chicago Scrappers and some1 from Dundalk DoubleDribblers (DDD) are in the final round. Man, Rabi could've made more than the other guys! Highest after them 2 was 14! Rabi could've made 13-16! Man, I need to do some more outside tactics next time.

Ya, the guys are right... Think about LeBron at the Cavs, the team was bad, but LeBron was still putting out MVP numbers, as long as the player is putting out good numbers, doesnt really matter how the team is doing, although sometimes a top player may not have great games cuz of the rest of the team...

Im guessing he is on the stat board for the league at least in one category?

Dude, the cavs had the best record in the league at 1 point with lebron and they were pretty much always in the playoffs. If you don't look at who their players were and just team stats, you'd never know that they were complete trash without lebron. just saying, not trying to start controversy ;)

Back to the one guy's question: I don't really think you can compare all star selections on buzzerbeater with the NBA. Buzzerbeater has to be based purely on stats right? whereas the NBA lets the fans vote, so the most popular players make it. So yes, i'd imagine if a team in 8th place had a player with the stats, he'd be an allstar.

Speaking of all-star games....

The one in my league in particular featured about 30% of the players whom are no longer in existance/retired from owners having gone bot. yet they still played in ASG. Also, my injured SF really tore it up... got me excited for when he's healthy again.

I take the results and outcomes with a grain of salt... it seems like they are coded to not have players play defense/foul from what I saw in a few games, most of which featured 0 FT attempts in the game, etc.
