You don' need to say so much to say so little!

The BB economy is simple: prices drop, prices rise. Unless they're rising, people complain about deflation, and say that whatever feature irritates them (in this case, free agents) is the cause of this and global warming and nipple cancer in rhesus monkeys. The masses of Herpistan and Derponia assemble to herp and derp through the issue, everyone follows along, and the prices keep on derpi... er, dropping.

The economy, such as many things here, attempts to follow rules of economics but the true master is psychology.

I've seen FA's retire. Yes I would have bought atleast 3 of them if I would have had the funds.

I've seen people list their players, still prolly thinking it's xmas. Start adapting to teams current funds and capabilitys.

I've seen people buying trainees way over their value. These guys are either increadibly dumb or are willing to overspend to build a NT player, who will eventually bankrupt their team:)

There is profit in training, but the profit is in training for your own team.

It makes some more sense now, but I don't know. BB is just like any other economy system. It will flucuate and there will be points of inflation and deflation, but it'll take a lot to totally skew the economy like that. What basis do you have for predicting this will happen? FA's are really only a fairly small portion of the market. I can see prices fluctuating if there are less of them, but I don't see it causing an extreme change like you are saying.

I have suggested time and again that they link FAs to the influx or reduction of user base..
I agree with this idea or something similar.

I think "switching FAs off" altogether is a bad idea, but something should be done so that training, which is arguably one of the most fun aspects of the game, is worth its wait and focus.

i agree & dont u think it is odd that their "limit" on free agents lets cheap players retire that new & low div teams actually need while useless $200k guys keep getting kicked around forever rented each week by whoever needs them 4 a big game

but some credit the salar floor has been raised now 2 $180% of tv money for top div

in abbl season 20 tv was 220k & salary floor was $260k, next season it would be about $400k, great move!

for d2 australia tv is about $130k & next season floor will be 140% in d2 so about $200k

d3 australia floor will be 100% of tv, about $80k i think so still really low

I agree. There should be less of these "expensive", behemoth players around. Would make them more expensive and, therefore, not as great an option for the rent-a-player-to-win-at-end-of-season strategy.
