Yeah it would have been good if these forums had of stayed active.
But it seems veterans of this division are soon forgotten :( and soon move on to their new div 2's.

With any luck I will relegate back to this league next season and cause some trouble. :)

hey guys,

there hasnt been much going on in my division either, with 2 bots and a whole bunch of teams content to sit around.

The usual culprits seem to be in the mix. will be high be able to break their drought? or will sammydog head to the finals for the first time.

The peeps have risen since i last looked. What are your intentions Lazy? possibly a deep PO run? The thunder are their abouts and have been biding their time. could see some late moves for them...

but one can't look past the Mangoloids with their div 2 experience and what we expect their couple of mil under their pillow.

If the Mango's take it, then there could be a bottle neck like a few seasons ago with Secrets, Peeps, Thunder and Ndoiya all looking to promote

Hey Bainsy,

Long time no hear, I've been watching you carve up the Div II for a bit there, seems you have found a good standing in the league.

I am enjoying having a team that is competitive for once, however, I am very aware of my teams abilities and even more aware of the sleeping giant that is Mango's, he has been trumpeting his millions in the bank for a bit, and as far as i can see hasn't spent that much, so who knows what he has by now. You watch him LI MM and TIE me at home tonight, just to send a message...

I think I am at least a season off competing for it all.

Hi all,

Good to see some action here. I miss bainsys write ups and skyhookz power rankings from a few seasons ago but I don't have the time that they would've spent doing that.

I don't have the cash to spend this season so will not be in contention for promotion. Very likely I'll have to sell some players at the end of the season so I dont bankrupt my team. Think Ngata will be looking at a salary of approx $45k, Souto $25k and Ese will be pushing $100k too. Can't afford that in Div 3.

Wonder how much of a spend up Mango will have if he wants to ensure promotion.

on a side note my team hit 4 triples and a deuce in the final 57 seconds of tonights game against No.2 in the conference... nek minnit lost on the buzzer!

All good mate. That win would have basically guaranteed a relegation series vs a bot. However now I need 7th to drop one of their final 3 games or I need to win one of my next 2.

I will give you the respect of saying brave. Mango might make an error like I did in the season ranga promoted. Hang in there.

I think Mangos' is a very shrewd operator and I think he is committed to promoting by taking this sucker out. Hippos' almost got blindsided last season, I don't think Hippos' will let that happen to him.

To tell you the truth, I thought you did have the front line that was going to punish me bad.

especially while my newly acquired SF was try to hit the barn door! shooting percentage is obviously not his forte.
