Congrats on the win Heyland.

Honestly, I don't understand the result (at least for the two 1st quarters.)
I can accept a loss but not with such gap.
Look at the team rating.

I played with my A team, normal and good GS.

"Lucky fan stole the ball"...That's what I even read yesterday when watching the end of the game! It summarize everything...
WTF..

And regarding Beykan, what did he eat before the match? With 15 rating average during the season, he had 19 yesterday! Without CT. I think the game engine was in a funny mood yesterday.

i'm concerned tho...
Beykans potential should have been reached long ago. His Gs was just like Lemos' GS, a strong. Hate to know what he could do when he's proficient...

If you look at most of his games, then his ratings are totally off. I've beaten Falco with simular ratings, so don't get me wrong or so, but this is not normal. Beykan has dropped 30+ points against several of the top SG's in our league. He should be capped long time ago. There is no way he could still be trained unless he was being trained on secundairies, but he's played SG the entire season. Either Heyland knows something i don't about training, or the GE has lost it on several occasions when Beykan was playing.

it reminded me of my loss against Armstrongs. I was up by 21 points in Q4 and Armstrong rallied and tied the game up to take the win in overtime. erasing a 21 point defecit in 1 Q just ain't realistic. in 1 Q, he dropped the same amount of points as in Q1 and Q2. i was very frustrated at the time about that, assuming that it was one of the GE's bizar moments. However, when looking at Beykan, i'm starting to wonder if it's a fluke or not...

Last season, Beykans points were a lot lower, yet his ratings were more or less the same. he had one break out game against Rubo Niel, where he dropped 46 points ( but his opponent wasn't that great of a guard, so that was understandable to some degree). However, this season, Beykan has had several breakout games. He's averaging twice the amount of points he was averaging last season, without a real increase in his ratings. not to mention, last season, Beykan was averagins 0.237 from downtown. This season, he's averaging 0.388 from downtown. The only logical explanation for that would be that Beykan is receiving JR training and has significantly raised his JR, but if that had happened his ratings should have gone up by 1 or 2 full lvls, which they haven't...

Futhermore, the Wolves ratings in offense are also very weird. if he had a guard playing C and defense shuffled around like i occasionaly do it when i need to get some training on Marichal, then you'd be able to explain his low ratings for offense and defense. Howeve,r Beykan is playing SG dropping a ton of 3 balls, and the rating remains that low? He inversed his PF and C, which should hardly effect his ratings in inside, and his PG and SF both played there respective positions...

i went thru Beykans history to try and find out more. I noticed that he played some PF in his first 2 seasons. I'd assume his IS, ID and RB lvls would be 6 all at starting lvl. But he never played a single game at the C, meaning he never got monoposition IS or ID training. if his RB sublvl had been trained, then he should be averaging more than just 3 rebounds a game. in total about 12 times he played enough minutes on the PF to get a full training there. If i include the SF played while being trained 1 vs 1, his IS could be at a decent lvl. But he was up against Lemos, who is an SF and who should have had some IS ( unless if defensif roles where changed, didn't check that out yet).

Something is off here. something just doesn't seem right. There is no way a player can double up his average in points made without his ratings increasing thru to serious training. Everyone still has the same guards on there team, so opposing defense is more or less the same... something is out of the ordinary here...

Well he did drop 56 & 54 earlier this season.

Plus, our teams enthousiasm has increased since then.

I wouldn't go and search too far, probably a healthy dose of luck was present as well.
He's just got really good offensive skills, can't find a lot of players like him on the TL right now, only a few can match his skills.

not sure if he can match Marichal. I'm talking about 29 lvls of combined offensif attributes. Anyhow, the fact that you got a player like that on your has put your team on my radar big time. But just like every team, your team too should have a weakness. just need to find it :D

What do you mean with 29 lvls of offensif attributes? 29 seems a little low for the total amount of offensive skillpoints for a player like Marichal.

On 22/1 you will have a chance to find out about our weaknesses, or strenghts. We'll see :-)

For the record, I don't consider our team ready yet to take it all this season, I think your team has still the most chance to promote.

it wasn't a typo. Offensif skills are just JS and IS combined. JR works off your JS, and thus isn't considered as a primairy offensif skill.

interesting formula you got there. But how does it take into account starters and bench?

i got a feeling that Sebhilton is gonna have to do his best not to have the 5 MVP's comming from the same team this time around :D He might find a better candidate for the PG, but i think that SG, SF, PF and C are all locked up :D (and 13 assists at the pointguard position isn't easely ignored. especially not when it comes with a DD)

anyhow, looking forward to it. I got a Feeling that Marichal will make the 3 point shooting contest, but his GS ain't that good, so i don't reckon he'll win it ( Geert Blairon won it for my team once already :D)

for the Allstar game, i got a prediction to make: i'm counting on 4 players making the All star team. 2 of them being starters: i'm counting on Marichal at the SG ( what a suprize!) and i'm counting on Ottevaere to take the starting job at SF ( tho Lemos might challenge him for that spot) I'm reckoning that Tiber and Branas will take the PF and C honors, with my big men backing them up, altho C4C's Nick Maljer might have a say there too . At the PG, should be interesting to see who will get that spot. i think Seb has got it locked up with his spanish PG.

On the opposing allstar, i'm expecting a mix of TBS and SKW for the guard positions, with Beykan at the SG ( should be fun. MArichal vs Beykan match-up at the allstar game :D) and i'm expecting Saint Servais super C to make the spot at the C position.

I think that our division will take the Allstar game. We have the better top teams, and could potentially split the Allstar spots under 3 or 4 teams. never the less, i'm looking forward to the all star game, cause it's a game that gives away a lot of information. Voting results should be in by tomorrow evening :D

BB can be so cruel.

Last night we lose 80-70 IRL.

What do I see when I come home?

Right! 80-70, damn!
