you're right, of course -- i've seen HCA-effects in the first, third, and if my memory was good enough, could think of one in the second period as well. and this is the third straight game i've played against the Bruins where he whupped me in the fourth period -- statistically conceivable, but now getting into unlikely.
the angle for me is that i doubt if the Bruins beat me on stamina, which would be another explanation.
that leaves, to me, experience -- Quintanilla is the youngster at 30, and a number of his players, Kelsey, Varner, play way above their pay grade. so i'm thinking the Bruins are a talented, grizzly (ha ha, a punny!)

team who know how to pace themselves and when to turn it on.
i know the common thinking is that experience only affects some shot selections, but as with other aspects of this game, i am convinced it shadows all skills and may be game sensitive (fourth period).
