I'm not sure it's about how aggressive your players is (89753557). Both C fouled out, main in 10 min, second in 37 , pf 5 fouls. Maybe these fouls result of lack of SB for bigs in zone defense?

I think the game I linked to was probably before I had gotten to the shotblocking - that was pretty much the last thing I added before free throws for that group. But it was definitely also related to aggression, since the player who decided that night to make Bilbija his personal punching bag was a heavy fouler.

But on that game I see that you have the advantage with GDP, and your Inside Defense was only 10 low.

A 3-2 zone costs you 10% of your ID.
So you dimish your ID with it... but guess what. SB has almost no influence in the ID rating. So you can't see if someone played with 2 bigs and both with SB 7 or with SB 17. There is almost no difference. But the result as a whole is completly different. The ratings in BB are a mess. You can believe them as much as the weather forecast for next month.

And the reason why 2-3 zone has such a strong rating is that ID gets a huge boost. So the rating rise. But SB has, again, almost no effect on the rating. But you need it. So what is better? A fantastic rating for a defense where you get kicked out of the arena because you have no SB or a crap rating but high SB and a strong defense? I will take the last one 100 times out of 100.

I hope i shined some light on your BB-world. Many seems to need it here sadly. The LI bandwagon tracks are so deep many cant even see there's a sky above them.

Lol, I don't even play LI :S I prefer outside shoting with my NT player at SF...I've tried 3-2 a lot, on 1 season where I had great OD at SF. But it didn't work out on important games. They always scores a lot of shots midrange, but everygame is diferent. Maybe they had good js bigs, and I had bad OD bigs.

But yeah, I don't even support LI so my BB-world kind oof looks the same
Thats true tho, their guards will miss lots of shots, but maybe with more passing bigs with be 2 for 1 on guards drives, idk

No problem. But that is one of the reasons why a team with SB bigs seems weaker than a just ID team. I always take a look at the amount of blocks and the FG%. It helps a little bit more to find out if there is a blocker.

I was not even giving my opinion and i would be fine with yours if you would not present it as the ultimate truth without a real argument.
There is no correlation between "many people do this" and "good" (e.g. smoking cigaretts) nor does doing the same thing for a long time yield much experience.

Not sure if an NBA 3-2 with say Mutombo and Mourning would not have closed the zone quite well. They implemented positional requirements precicely to prevent that.
