Same with the buffed tactics. We were told what tactics were improved, but not how much - we just have to figure it out ourselves. But it's way better than just buffing some of the tactics without telling which ones.
Totally agree on that one. Updates to engine must be announced properly.

Existing algorithms however are a totally different animal imo. For instance, one thing that was too much for me, and I cannot remember where I read it unfortunately, were some very specific details about defensive zones - who has X % chance to defend whom, on what type of shot etc. I believe this should remain "inside" info.

On the bright side - those posts usually bring on a lot of discussions and input and sometimes very good improvement ideas are born, so I guess I can live with that at the end of the day! Much better than waiting for a response for months, as it used to be not long ago!

Still no exact numbers, though from the wording used in jump shots you can assume it's 25% each. I see your point that this kind of information could in some cases be little problematic, but on the other hand, releasing more information about less used tactic is a good way to buff that tactic. With more information, managers can try to make it work. Of course, if the released information was about M2M or 3-2 zone, that would be bit questionable since managers already assumably know how they work.

Well yeah, I have to agree with most of what you said. Guess it doesn't hurt to release some details, especially on less popular items... Might encourage us to explore even more actually and will definitely help with forum activity too. Just no numbers, percentages etc, please!

I’ll be honest, I don’t buy that explanation at all. My players foul like crazy, especially leading to free throws. And true I don’t have good shot blocking at any position. But I certainly don’t draw more fouls and still shoot very low percentages against teams what have high OD but based on player salary I assume low SB. Aggressiveness is literally only a detriment. People should know when they are looking to acquire players.

How does the engine calculate injuries?
During my last three games in Utopia, I had four injured players. For the last two? seasons I had no injuries.
How does it come, that the injuries occur in such a short timespan and after that it is nothing again. Just my impression, that if an injury occures, the propability for another one is higher during the next games... Just my impression.
I had a player in Germany, who got injured three times during a season. Before that only once, after that never again...

A random process, with a constant probability, will often produces "runs" like this that then regress to the mean. Doesn't seem strange or unusual.


But this run is really stupid now. I have the next injured player in Utopia. That's no. 5 since Tuesday. I have a lv 6 doc and I don't want to know what would happen without him.

I have him for a while. The purchase has no effect. This discussion I already had 30 seasons ago with Marin. He even checked the BB code, if there was an effect after buying a new doc. There is no negative impact.
