How do I know what to place him on sale for? How would I know not to sell it too high, since they have that ban thing in case a player sells for more than they think it should...

If someone sells for a markedly inflated price and it's not cheating but rather just an overprice, we're not going to ban.

The price would probably be adjusted, but no ban.

See, I plan to sell my star player, 3 times MVP, cornerstone player for NT and so on, and so on, not to mention he is a Hall of Fame player already, in my team

How do I go about figuring out the starting price?

Do your research: Look at other similar transfers (Joly isn't unique), figure out how much he's worth to your team in terms of what you want to bring in with whatever you get for him. Or just list him at a price you would definitely be comfortable selling him for, and keep adjusting downwards as he continues to not sell.

I did some research, nothing similar, at least I didn't find...

And I have no idea what a serious price would be... I guess I'll have to start somewhere very high and see from there.

Any idea what are the top prices paid for a player so far?

another option is to list him for a high price and insert the quote - I will listen to offers on Joly's page. Perhaps you will find an offer to your liking.

That makes sense. what would the "high price" be?

doesn't really matter. some of the italians list players at $15 million or more (although some do that just to show off their players). if anyone has an interest, they will then send you bbmail to see if you would consider selling or taking part in a "trade."

really, anything over $5 million should be fine (that is what Harrell is going at).
