When Daequan Cook sees 22 minutes on the court, you know the Bulls have an extremely bad day. Purhaps the fatigue factor finally set in and purhaps that along with how physical the match was, brough out more frustration then usual. From what I read it was a very physical match from the first play. However, players needed the rest, especially Butler who play 160 consecutive minutes.
After G1, it was said that Deng will return for G3 but now listed as day-to-day. Even if he does return, he still wont be at his best, plus always been ave against Miami. At least it will bring a liitle more quality and purhaps motivation may even lift the team mentially.
Last time Bulls went down 4-1 to Miami was 2 season ago. Noah opened his mouth and said that they were too good for them, and purhaps after the 1st win, the team got too cocky and needed to get put back into their shell. Last season looked like the season and went down to philly. Purhaps the injury to rose was demotivating to the Bulls, but motivating to Philly. Dont think it will end up 4-1 this time though. I do believe the Bulls are good enough for at least 1 more scare. So i'll go with 2-2 before Miami goes 4-2.
The Bulls playing with Rose last 2 seasons has a wining % of approx 75. This season it was 55%. So yes, he should see limited time on the court, but you really cant afford to risk him against a rival in the playoffs? 6-3 in tech fouls in todays match, so most likely not worth it.
