how does a lowly team score points when they lose every game the the system the TEA has?

At the moment our system is based on ranking right? So lets say its the 3rd to last week of the league. Fishy is in second place on the ladder. I am in last place on the ladder. Even if I win my remaining games I can't go up a spot, but if fishy wins his remaining games then he can. So in the current system it encourages me to lose to fishy on purpose by as many points as possible. If we change the system, then it isn't important about who beats who on the same team, the only important matches for the week become the cross over matches. Make sense?

the way the system works is that both sides of our league are very balance this was achieved via a draft system before the league started .

the point system gives every team something to fight for.

thats actually a very good idea as it thwarts tanking games on purpose.

we should put that system thru asap! now just need everyone to approve
