I almost started a thread like this a week or so ago. After I realized what I was going to say did not make much sense, I didn't post. However, I want to add some comments:
* Yes, I've done quite a bit of trading, including the technique of generating money for myself by buying low (early morning Europe time) and selling high (late afternoon europe time). Snatching up players worth a lot more then they were going for in the TL. Even at a taxation rate of me getting about 20% of the sale price.
* If you spend a lot of time playing a game, that game should reward you for putting in that effort. The only part of BB where you can spend a lot of time, is the market, playing the market part of BB. I do spend quite some time analyzing the competition
as well, but more at the TL. And that pays off for me
* As a beginning player, it has significantly increased my knowledge of this game by trading players. I regret some of the trades I made, because I should have kept some players. At the time I though I needed to get rid of them. I've had many many players in matches and I think I now have learned pretty well how to get a balanced team. And that shows in my teams ability to beat teams ranked around 10K on a regular basis.
* As Day trader I've always traded to make my team better, not to earn BB-$$$
* I'm now at a loss about what to do with my time. I can not find any players I want to buy anymore. I need to wait for my income to increase for a couple of games before I have enough cash to buy a player that would better fit my roster. My ultimate goal is to buy/train a better team. Day Trading only gets you so far, especially if a lot of people do day trading.
