I was ready to make noise Stunners saw it coming though and CTd me out of the running

You CT'ed too...right???? So that noise you were making was the sound of the CUP passing you by....hahahahaa!!

BTW....Did you see Kyoto muster up 23 total rebounds tonight.
The key was sticking my level 19 rebounder at SF and shutting out his SF on the glass(0 rebounds).
well....next up....Isehara....should be a great game

I lost, well done. Losing is just a part of the game. I have done a lot of losing this season & I'm normally fine with it.

Yes I saw the 60-23 rebounding, well done on the win but that is just a stupid unrealistic thing you would not expect in any sort of game simulating anything approaching realism that rebounding imbanance is a joke, I have multiple guys at 16+ in rebounding, I'm probably at about the same level as you in 4/5 positions yet you get nearly triple my rebounds, what a stupid unrealistic game this is some times really wrecks things when rubbish like that happens. I don't deny you the win, but I would just like the game to make some sense. Lets face it it is fair that Baroncini outrebounded Põld by a lot when he has over double his rebounding stats, but Põld should have scored 80 points at 90% shooting against Baroncini, there shouldn't have been any rebounds to get. Baroncini has never been trained in outside defence so is whatever he was as a rookie against Põld who regularly scores 60 with his 17 JS & 12 JR & 21 IS. This is Manute Bol guarding Michael Jordan & Jordan can't score on every possession? What a stupid match.

Just to be clear 1 more time, I have no problem wth you, you did well & you deserve the win, a sensible box score with a L would have been fine, but this was just unrealistic like they randomly pulled numbers out of a hat, sure doesn't look like any sort of basketball simulation.

My team is worthless if rubbish like this will happen, my season is a total failure, there is nothing to look forward to in this game now for several real months ....................................................................................................................................

What is the point?

Give me a forum ban, fine me all my money, right now I just don't care.

OK....Before you go crazy, re-watch the game please. Pold was guarding Baroncini on OFFENSE but on DEFENSE it was Asano who was D'ing Pold up. And he isn't too shabby.
And.....I had a 5 Rebouding at PG, 8 and SG, 19 at SF(switched to C on Defense)a 19 at PF and a 14 at C(switched to SF on D)....+Motoori's 16 off the bench and Beste's 11 off the bench
as you know...a 16 isn't a 19 and I had better rebounding at every position....men vs boys
Watching the games are very important, looking at boxscores doesn't tell the whole story sometimes....
Good luck next time!!!

well said Wolph but I still think I win at his house with more effort. I was up 20 and the GE started to feel sorry for him.....and I have to agree....I KILLED him on the glass. I think the whole blank line up thing is killing managers ability to set their own rosters. No way a blank starts my mini beast at SF on O and has him play D on his C. And Asano on Sonada on O...chalk that one up to my side..I knew at best, Pold had maybe 11 ID, so I put a 15 IS 19 REB there to make him work on D. And another thing....Sonada shouldn't be starting a CUP final 8 game. If my memory serves me correctly, he still has sensational rebounding(unless he got him to tremendous since the last time he was for sell, and then he was capped)and low OD....I had a level 19 rebounder on him. Even Asano is two levels higher and Sonada had to work to D him up. Sonada got lucky to get any rebounds. After studying some of Shogun's games, I realized that he has a lot of salary tied up in Inside scoring. Even hisbeast is a 16(from what he said)...he is paying a guy over 200K who can't rebound. CRAZY!! I remember Kouzuki has/had 16 rebounding but he didn't start him...That means he only started 1 decent rebounder.
Conclusion to this is...he should have bought two players with the money that he spent on that SF. Because I knew that the C spot was going to be his weak point. Sonada and Kouzuki.....just not good enough

Also for that 21 IS, you should be paying a lot more salary, that is also a flaw in this GE/salary formula. Up the salaries on all them IS guards and SFs etc....then suddenly JR doesn't seem so expensive..and/or they should lower the cost of JR...maybe make the salary effected by the higher of the two, either IS or JR, but not just JR and not both. Now that would be an interesting change.

YUCK!! I would never pay that much for a SF with respectable rebounding. And atrocious SB...
So now we know why his team got KILLED on the boards.

Thanks for the great feedback guys i does help to explain things so well :)

Yes buying Põld was probably the worst move I have ever made in this game, he was scoring 60 a game for his last team but just hasn't worked out for me at all. You can certainly see both Põld & Gaitatzidis right now in all their failed humiliation as they are leaving Nippon asap!!! No doubt Sonada & Kouzuki aren't up to the standard of the JBBL this season & I am also a little weak at SG which if you have studied my team has been a revolving door this season as I experiment with different guys.

Basically the training has killed me this season. Trying to train a good C/PF Eita Wakatsuki, a young PG Shin Shidehara & mostly a cruddy failure of a PF 20k 22 year old Ichiro Nishimura has been a disaster. Every week I have 1 or 2 guys playing out of position, I rarely get to use Eita at PF & I almost never get to run my best lineup. Blanks are far away, even in that game I had a training lineup.

1 thing, I am sure Asano isn't too shabby but if he has just $62 210 wages, a massive rebounding, was able to score like crazy against Sonada who you will also remember has very high ID, how did he stop Põld with his 21 IS? I am sure Asano is great but he can't have everything so high. 14 RE we know, must be at least 15 IS to socre on Sonoda & it can't be even close to 21 ID yet he still did slow Põld so much.

My offensive flow was way, way better than yours, I should have been getting the ball to the best shooters & they should have been making them, instead I have my PG (1/10) taking more shots than my C (6/9), I am jacking up 3s at a 16% hit rate while my guys with 16, 16, 16, 17 & 18 driving just stand still taking jumpers.

It doesn't matter but it is odd.

62k was his salary 7 trainings ago. He is surly in the. 90k range by now.
And you can't always look at Salary...look at Wolph's player Tsunami...easily the highest TSP for a Japanese player, but with a very low salary..

OK...I think you may not know what driving is or does.. It's not about players driving to the bucket....this is what the game manual says
Driving: Allows the player to create his own shot without a good pass from a teammate. Better driving creates shots more often and creates better shots on average.
You may have been getting better shots from the outside.....but what lost the game for you was REBOUNDING!! And the fact that Sonada didn't stand a chance against Asano.

Driving also creates a particular type of shot called a driving layup, with super high driving against players with little or no OD you can sometimes get a lot of them and they tend to be high percentage.

Poor Sonada he used to be good, maybe next season I will get a replacement for him and he can retire to the bench.

Driving has nothing to do with layups. That fact has been out there for a long time. All players try layups. Layups are more of IS and the driving helps decide if it's a good shot or not.
