Just to be fair to everyone and upfront, I am going through with my stated intention of dropping out of Div II and down to Div III next season. I'll be doing everything possible to give you the advantage in games against my team, and use the new game features to your best benefit. I prefer to not think of this as tanking, more of getting back to focusing on training a younger core of players and having an extended Cup run. Things that I used to find very exciting but have gotten away from the last 2 or 3 seasons. I'm glad to have seen Delta 9 win and promote, it was very well deserved for them. As home court advantage has shown to be so critical for promoting and everyone in the Big 8 fielded such competitive teams against Delta 9 last season, I will attempt to play competitive games against Big 8 leaders to offer the same advantage to who ever wins the Great 8. Since I do not see a huge benefit in having a high draft pick in this league, if someone in the Great 8 proves to be better at loosing than myself, I will let everyone know if my attentions change should I face a relegation match instead of automatic demotion. Best of luck to everyone this season!

Haha no worries. I won't exactly be in the playoff discussion this season.

After I sell the players I want to sell, it'll be back to 0. At the moment it's at -115k though. I think I have 4 weeks to sell though? Also, that training exemption is going to be huge. Really helps the hg route.

Yeah. I have over 170k available in training exemptions but of course I don't have the finances to actually pick up that much extra salary anyhow. But the six guys that I've trained are still going to be around on my team for a long time (and a couple are going to receive more training) so having that cushion available if I ever need it is nice.

This is where I'd point out that I actually attempted to win my games against Delta and ask for the easy game for myself, but I don't see any reasonable path to the finals and besides, I'd prefer that you give everyone in the conference an equal effort anyhow. One of the few things about this level of play that I dislike is that throwing games is far too frequent for my tastes. I can see why it's done (and if I'd just dumped my first game v. Delta I might have had a better shot against Reston or rhyminsimon in the Cup), but it's just not something I'm fond of.

I just wanted to let everyone in II.4 know that I'm da bomb, yo.

me = da

But da bomb is pretty impressive. I'm still hoping someday to be as hype as a mostly fizzed out pop rock, but progress is slow.

If my team is leading the conference in scoring, you guys have a lot of shame to apportion amongst yourselves. I am fairly certain we'll return to our normal bricklaying ways, but everyone should take this opportunity going into a new year to reflect on your mistakes and maybe just decide that, for the good of the league, everyone should conspire to throw their games to me so I can promote and you won't have this painful reminder. It's the logical solution.

I am game. Why not? You would be a little more convincing to others if you remove every fifth word from your post. It's called the Mr Glass affect and it delivers your message with conviction.

Like that? It'll take (some) getting used to but (I) can definitely feel the (confidence) exuding through.

That's pretty much it. I deciphered the code the other day after my fifth Pyramid Imperial IPA. It all just made sense.

After deciphering the code do you now have the urge to demote a few times so that you can dominate D5 for 10 straight seasons?

I can only imagine the voices you would have to have in your head to find that remotely entertaining.
