btw Morwood, I just realize how similar our buzzerbeater careers have been, although you are way more active in the international, we both have been around way too long of a time to have never been to Naismith. LOL

Edit: whoa, 4 Point Play too... he's been around since season 9 without a trip to Naismith. Good on you Coach Chamberlain
Edit 2: Mustard Tigers too, Season 10 without Naismith. Keyes Kops since season 4. Phi Slamma Jamma since 6. Carleton since 5. Frynoodle since 19. Binopolis Celtics since season 2! Bunch of old timers in this div, and that's only the great 8 so far!
edit 3: Westsiders from season 10. MaltonHG season 2. Cartoon Heros since 19. Hounds since 15, but has been to Naismith (only one so far). Surrey Destruction has been around since season 1 and no Naismith.

Wow. A lot of BB Canada low league history in this Division. More then likely whoever wins this season will make their first birth in Naismith ever. That's pretty cool.

WOW definitely didn't notice that! Considering how the Canadian community is slowly decreasing, those that remain are ones that stuck through it from the long run! Great observation.

85% FG has been around for a while too but left and came back recently. He was in Naismith at least once if I can recall. Everyone has different goals throughout buzzerbeater. Mine is to keep training to hopefully have a player I drafted make it to the NT!

This is true, I never really made my end goal Naismith, but if I ever get the opportunity to spend a season or two in the big leagues I would take it.

Wow, just discovering those stats and analyse.
Yeah, Clark didn't had a good match for me yesterday. Team B was playing so I can have a chance in my cup game with team A.

Honestly, I have never put too much time into this game and have a lot of RL stuff going on so I'm happy just getting my line-ups set for most matches. I would like to promote, but my team isn't really strong for Naismith. I am an old timer, but I have wasted a lot of seasons trying stuff and figuring things out.
Also, it's nice to be in a league where the forum actually gets used.
No offence Calgary, but I agree with you that you are lucky to be unbeaten, you have a good squad, but there is some luck in that 9-0(I'll be forced to eat those words if you beat me tonight, lol).
With that in mind, Keyes is really the only one that worries me for the chip this year cuz it's one game to see who goes to the final and anything can happen.
Anyway, enough of my rambling, good luck all!

So we're about half-way through the season, what's everyone's thoughts so far on their team and season?

Personally, I'm just focused on training but I've had some bad luck with the injury bug with my second trainee, losing about 4 weeks already of training. Pretty happy as to where I am in the standings so far too.

I'm pretty happy too. Coming back into II I thought it might be a season to re-tool, try to be around 5th position and stay out of relegation. Turns out the majority of the conference is tanking and I'm winning a good chunk of games. I'm making a pretty decent amount each week and winning, so that's cool.

It's also nice to be in a Div with a lot of active managers and good discussion.
