One level of effort difference. That only cancels out the HCA and still leaves the missed GDP and overall quality of the players unanswered. The math doesn't add up and I can't believe you're STILL trying to argue that I in any way deserved to lose that game.

I think the problem is that you are basing your maths off assumptions. I don't see it written anywhere that 1 level of effort = HCA. The cool thing I like about this game is that while certain stats give you guidelines on how your team is performing, there is no combination of stats that says you will DEFINITELY beat the other team.

I remember one year I beat an ABBL team in a cup game that I had no business winning. Most awesome game ever. I think it was against Bryce actually. I still laugh LOL

I think the issue is the number of games in the season. The level of "randomness" would be ok if we had an 82 game season (or something). Losing a game where you feel like you had a large advantage (rightly or wrongly) is harder to write off in a smaller season.

EDIT:
It sounds like I'm defending ott, even to myself. I still think he's a big baby when he loses though.

What little sanity I had has been slowly chipped away by several years of being tortured by the RNG in every online manager I've ever played (and one be a pro type game also). This tantrum throwing blob of keystrokes is all that's left of me.

A much bigger case could be made for my opponent tonight. He played a roster of 220k with home court and more enthusiasm. After the first 3 mins, I was left with a roster of 32k (after an injury). Id thrown the game.

I somehow won by 21pts.
