I know why you did what you did. It was obvious for everyone to see. Just because you do something to stay up and in your words "what is best for your team" does not mean it is honorable towards other teams.
You said you gave two of your traineess games.. From what I can see from their player history buying a player at 20yrs etc.. anyone knows that is not a proper trainee. Unless they had insane skills already. Or most likely they are just to booster your squad and to sell for a higher price to someone who does not know the transfer market. I truly hope I am wrong about that and I appologise if I am but people can and will see for themselves.
Spending however, much on draft the position you are in is never going to work unless a miracle happends.
Genuinelly hope you get a great draft and turn him into a NT Star. NT needs all the help it can get from everyone. But to train any decent player you can only do two with single position and then it will take ten seasons or so to complete.
I completely agree that every manager should learn from others and adapt. Vecx is a personal close friend who I grew up with. I know how he plays the game but he also does it with honor and integrity.
I will not say any more and neither will I reply to any more about this.
Genuinely all the best for the future training program that you have in plan.
Good luck everyone with the remaining games

Speaking of luck I just logged on to find I had a scrimmage starting in less than 20 minutes and I hadn't set a lineup. Normally I do it after tuesday's game but had just left it this time. Managed to get in filled and sent with 20 seconds to spare with everyone I wanted set properly. Phew!

My guy was indeed the 5th pick, and the third HoF potential player taken. I've also taken two MVP potential players with picks in double figures (although neither really stuck).
By the by, Barik has just three-peated as MVP.

Nice. No votes for any Wasps this season but not sure I'd have voted for any of them either. The voters usually mock me by voting for my worst starter but I've avoided that this season by selling him.

I don't think I've ever had a player in the top 10 voting for MVP, like ever. This season I have first, second and third.

Yeah, Wasps making it to the finals is shocking...

Shocking for me too. Though I did hope that the sale of Batley might give me a chance but that was offset by my less than stellar game shape.
Will be my second finals series against Vecx, but the first time in D1. I have bad memories of the first one and will have to do better.

Gl ;-)
Yeah, my game shape was shocking and then Barik following out meant doom.
My GDP predictions being about two seasons too late didn't help either.

I logged in toward the end of Q2 and saw it was 47-47 - noticed the predictions and thought... yup, a couple of old pro's showing em how its done! Lol
