There is a lower variation in range between projected sub levels at GS 9, but they do exist...I have a player who has a starting salary of $5011. He has had 10 pops in skills and a projected (and the calculator underquotes by up to 10%) salary of $6810. His DMI this week with GS 9 is 54300... If there was no sublevel it would be around 65000.

You are right, although I believe my original point was that I had never used DMI to scout my opponents because I felt there were other factors more important.
