easy taking out the hca would be naturally the right way to go yes but in spirit of competition, we need to set it in the way that game should have teams with almost or not far the difference in talent.

true no matter what you say about startegy, but still we cant control what happens to a game. foul trouble and injuries are 2 of my top worries the later being the number 1.

we need to think this more and give more insights. im afraid we might left something out.

because one thing in aisa probably i can compete but going against power houses like italy and the us for some i wouldnt stand a chance, i remember doing a scrimmage game with a italian league he put up his 3nd team on my mix of 1st and 2nd stringers and guess on my home turf. i got the right strategy but still i was rammed over like my team never played defense . . . . . dont ask whats the score im really embarass :D

I think you are downplaying your team and your position means that you have the ability to make more money than the majority of teams outside the top 2 in the Big/Great 8 in Italy / US etc.....

It might take a bit of time but as a franchise i would take your position every day of the week vs a 4th place team in a top division. Yes our teams may miss the week in week out competition that is all around the developed nations but the majority of this thread is about Money (or lack of compared to last season) so use your dominance in your nation to cash in without the need for a huge team roster... whats the minimum you can spend and still win? Next season salaries will surely be topping $400k maybe higher and to win the NBBA or equivalent will mean probably running at a slight loss.

I bet you could develop your stadium and win your title with a salary of $300k (maybe even $250k). So thats x weeks of $100-150k extra profit for you over your so called 'power house opponents'

The question is whether you believe or want to try for the BB3.... I have a feeling it could get to the stage where people save up and have a crack at the BB3 once every 3-4 years where they try and buy the glory and run at a huge loss for the 7 weeks or so of the competition itself....

Thats a tactic i have been thinking about anyway (only downside is I hate to make long term plans.... i just know by the time i try to execute it something will prevent me from doing it!!!) (JOKE)

Is the HCA advantage associated with country or the team?

Maybe you could continue to draw games like you do now, but move them to the largest arena in the "host" country. Or if HCA is based on country, choose a nearby country that has a similar game time.

Either way would eliminate the HCA, while still spreading games throughout the day.

Second round started this morning (CET) with the 3 first qualified teams:

Hongky Warriors from Hong Kong who beat Australian CoolCats on a R&G game by 126 to 114.

French LA Lakers beat South Korean KBS on a defensive one 68-56.

Finishing with the all Japanese wining Sharman Globe Trotters defeated by China I.1 Champion Rocket_SH 89-76.
