Not as much as an Aussie. It really depends on whether or not he get game time. If he doesn't play in U21 games then you won't get that merchandise boost.

I'll tell you something funny. I am getting more merch than skyhook who had a player in the French U21 side, and I have never Haas a player in a NT or U21. I am also getting more than the league average

Good local players usually generate more merchandise than foreign national players. That's why support your local Aussie players!!!

Garrie Addison is flattered that you would consider him a good local player cause he is about the only good aussie i have. I am also happy that he only cost 37k but brings in 55k in merchandise revenue. that is a good return if you ask me. not to mention the 41 points on Razor

Yeah but keeping scrubs won't help. They actually have to play and merchandise is actually more of a percentage of player salary. Not sure if playing in cup games help but league games definitely.

So pretty much the factors of merchandise are:
- Play in National/U21 matches (Successful national teams give more merchandise)
- Drafted from your own team
- Domestic player
- Winning team
- League leader (More weight in important stats)

That's probably the order of importance base on my opinion.

Generally, yes.
However, there is a small design flaw/bug in the game.
When I use my 3 draftees that I have, that are all crap, and play them 48 minutes each in the games, and only use these players, my merchandise was 77k.
