so I should have played M2M and played the odds that one player beats me on 3s and not the entire team?
b'c the rest of the team went 2-9 from beyond the arc

That may have helped, or it might not have. If one of his guards or SF were a much worse 3 point shooter, maybe you'd lock him on that guy and hope that your guy sucks less. Maybe you have one of those lucky days where a guy that should hit 60% of his threes against him instead does something like 1-12, or maybe it's one of the admittedly rare occasions where the game almost notices the mismatch and he hits something like 6-8.

Pretty interesting is amount of opened shots he was 17/24 and you 26/53. So this should be the key, how and why he managed to have such great numbers with so little attepmts. You were equal at contested shots with about 40% acc. (while he shot 71 contested and you just 34). This is where defensive leaks came from (you couldnt defend more contested shots)

Most of them where against Simonen (11/26 defense! 7threes, 7js, 1dr), Eresma(14/20) and then Kholdeev(7/13). So he shot mostly through your 3 bigs when using oustide focus..

They scored to tie the game with one second left, and then a non-shooting foul at the buzzer. I can only assume that the player is a Vanderbilt graduate.

Can someone please explain to me what went wrong in my last game? This is truly disappointing because I obviously have better players than my opponent and my offensive strategy was outside but the opponent's defensive strategy was inside. I am respectfully asking GM's to take a look at their game algorithms because this doesn't really make sense. It happened to me before and I am mad because this happened to me again.

1) Some bad luck, it happens sometimes to perform worse, then excepted.
2) How OD/ID/SB of your SF looks? You've been destroyed in this matchup, mostly because of lack of luck, but I would also suspect lacks of OD, as your opponent managed to go 7/12 in 3FGs from this position. Tabangay could also score a lot from inside due to his IS (or your low ID/SB).

Glaring hole at the SF spot got endlessly relentlessly exploited.

Wow, I didn't see that coming: (98022324)
I was completely destroyed by Full Court Press. Can someone explain me if that match was just an unlucky result?

Now since opponent plays FCP, I should have better offensive flow, I agree. But I didn't have any choice regarding that, and I ended up with 27 TOs, which is understandable. Against that, I had 8 more offensive rebounds and as a result my opponent had around 10 more attacks than me.

I think I selected the best tactic for this match, considering that my team is much more outside focused.

But let's check position comparisons. I'm much better than my opponent in every position but he shot with around 56%, but he mostly played with reserve players in the 4th quarter. Opponent starters shot with 60% percent, and if they played, they might have scored 160-165 points! How could that happen considering player comparisons?

I expected a huge performance drop from the opponent because of high tempo match and FCP but no, my performance dropped more in-game. Is FCP an OP defensive tactic for lower level divisions? I barely allow 100 points in my league, but a 4th division team scored 150 against me, and they could have scored 160+!

So I'd be greatful if someone can explain this match to me. If this one was played 100 times, how many times I would win?
