well my scrimmage battle never eventuated, maybe i was too late in showing my interest, so be it. I definately haven't given up any, i've just had more important real-life issues to deal with.

Does anyone know why draft lists still have not been done?

This is my 3rd and I still need to get my trainees their minutes, this week has been such a big mess. The extra $330,000 from the Cup has been nice but right now the team is in shambles and I have never been so disorganised. Give me two weeks and my team will be back in order again, until then I guess I have to expect a little punishment.

A great win in the All Star game but what was up with Neil Tambyraja? In the scorefest he went 1 - 7 for 3 points in 34 minutes. I hope he plays like that against me.

On the other hand Jacek Sudzinski was probably the MVP. Too many weapons those Beasts.

i am not usually 1 to give out advice, usually because i have no idea what i am talking about most of the time!

However, i think this advice is CRUCIAL..

IF, like me, you get a sample Peppermint Tea tea bag in your letter box, THROW IT OUT!!!

I decided to try it last night, and all i can say, my toilet has paid for it ALL day, and will probably continue to do so overnight.

GO TEAM 3.12!!

yeh i understand your issue. but surely brett would be able to set a full strength lineup. i know i will.

i am quietly confident i will get a win tonite.

Well 3 wins each league, shame because if I had started my PG that could be 4 wins, though I was sure I changed him to starter, maybe he got an in game injury.. Well done especially to the beasts, Neil went to town it seems against the possums, good work.. Well guess next year that extra game will be crucial, we need to have the odd one to get a winning conference!!!

yep and a full strength hippos. and skyhook available

last night skyhook, ranga and i had a discussion in chat about shotblocking as a skill.

was wondering what the rest of you guys think.

what do you think of shotblocking?

do you rate it as a skill worth having on a defender?

how much of a role does it play in the game?

is it worth the salary hike? would you train it at all?

Not a big fan of SB, purely from my experience I have some great shot blockers but it feels to me more often than not the ball ends up back in the other teams hands and generally when the offensive team gets a few tries on the O they score.. Personal opinion anyway, if you can get a guy with the other 3 big stats and low shot block, (7) then you save a fair bit on salary.. Having said that I have never had someone with more than prominent SB so maybe they can tip them more often the other team mates if it is high?

you share the same view as Ranga, that it gives away too many 2nd chance offensive looks. personally for me it is more than just about the successful block. It contributes alot to causing poor shots aswell. so in tandem with ID or OD it can be important. however it is expensive, which is a bit of a deterrant, however i would be willing to pay a little bit more for it. dunno if it still costs alot for guards/sf as it does to bigs.

btw we got within a minute of beating a Neil-less Beasts tonite. Without an injury to Igor early in the 4th we may have held on. so now we just need Neil to pick up a long term injury (sorry Neeber, but im ruthless).

I am just waiting for the day Neeber sells Sudzinski

in the last 6 encounters he has scored

19, 34, 24, 11, 17, 43

getting sick and tired of it. but well done Neeber. taking the rivalry history to 0-7
