I guess I'll pose a question along these lines to namssor and jason, then: how do you see the staff roles (not including scouts) changing with you in charge? How much are you comfortable delegating when it comes to actual game plan and roster selections? Although obviously you will have the final say, would you prefer to have defined staff roles or unstructured community involvement? What other roles beyond those that we currently have would you find useful?
You know Wozz, my experience has been questioned a lot in this campaign...even a few minutes ago someone put a negative spin on the actual experience that I do have...I fully understand that in any situation of becoming the NT coach, and especially considering my lack of NT experience, and that becoming the NT coach would mean winning the election against a guy who is clearly qualified, the last thing I would want to do is come in and throw my weight around.
First thing I would do, is to beg Namssor to stay in his same role. This would help with a seemless transition. Jfarb has promised he is here to help out whoever wins, and I would rely heavily on him, and guys like Coco and Jelme and you if you all say involved as active advisors. I would be more than comfortable delegating any responsibilities.
There is only one real reason to vote for me without bringing up things that I am capable of doing, or will be able to do...and thats my ability and willingness to go into the community, get people involved, and help build this program that way. That task will have a much bigger impact if I am the NT coach, rather than a staff member in my opinon. So I would do my best to not rock the boat as far as the system or staff is concerned, I would rely on the guys already running the team now as advisors, I woiuld contrinbute where I can in that regard, and I would roll up my sleeves and go to work on building this community to even higher levels than it has reached.
