"My team" beat the other team's all-stars....

PF A. Tomilin 32 14 - 26 1 - 5 2 - 2 5 11 6 0 0 2 1 31 9.5
PG J. Bryant 22 10 - 15 4 - 6 0 - 0 1 1 4 0 0 1 1 24 8.5
C R. Kinder 19 10 - 12 1 - 2 0 - 0 2 7 1 2 0 0 0 21 13.5
PF M. Gentry 21 5 - 11 1 - 2 0 - 0 2 7 4 0 1 0 0 11 8.5
PG I. Jung 31 4 - 7 1 - 3 0 - 0 0 3 11 0 1 0 0 9 8.0
SG A. Maffezzoni 23 2 - 5 0 - 0 0 - 0 1 2 4 0 0 0 0 4 6.0

30 of the team's 42 assists...
100 of the team's 166 points.
31 of team's 60 rebounds

and despite being outplayed in every category except inside scoring, and having lower ratings across the board, except for Kinder, highest rated guy in game, won, because of superior coaching... Guess I was the coach?

No, I think it's more like they wouldn't let me coach. They wouldn't even allow me in the arena due to the mistakes of an ill-spent youth :( Otherwise things would have been a lot different.

Seriously though, I think defensive ratings are largely ignored, or Kinder would never have shot 10-12 against Bello and Madrid (12 and 14 ID respectively), and there's no way both teams would have shot above 50% from three-point range. So that makes a huge difference since my all-stars made it all on the basis of their defense, which had no effect on their performance in the all-star game.

That I can completely agree with...
Madrid's defense yeah should have limited Kinder. Bello.... not as much, but yeah, Kinder definately shouldn't have shot that well.

Though as for the 3pt thing... Bryant, not a superb 3pt defender...
